A Year later
"I'm working." Annie said into the phone as she pulled Tony away from Steve.
"You're babysitting?" Bruce asked confused.
"No. I am at the meeting you were suppose to be at." Annie answered right as Tony moved on to bothering Clint.
"Who says i'm not here?" Bruce asked as he enter the room.
"About time." Annie mouthed to him.
"Since Nick is gone who is in charge of this meeting?" Asked Tony Stark.
"Guess." Natasha said sitting down.
"Steve," Tony guessed.
"Wrong." Annie told him. "Coulson."
"You're alive!" All the Avengers said exited.
"He is taking Fury's place." Annie told everyone.
"I never agreed to it." Coulson told me.
"Please tell me you are going to agree." Annie begged because if he didn't it would ruin her plans.
"You don't want to be the directer?" Coulson asked.
"No" She told Coulson.
Bruce and Annie had a plan. One day they would run off and be together. Annie was the only one who knew where he stayed. He didn't trust anyone else. He offered for her to go back with him so many times, but she was not ready to leave yet.
"Then I'll take the job." Coulson promised.
