Once in a Lifetime

The night everything fell apart

Where was Natsu? Had he already gone home? Wait! Why should I care? But what if he's... Lucy, don't think like that, just keep waking home. Plue looked up at me in confusion as I was having my mood swings. I can't wait to go home and relax after a long day of training! "You better watch out Lucy!" The locals yelled at me as I walked to my house. "Thanks, but I will be just fine!" I replied, just like normal. As I entered my house, I quickly ran into my bathroom with Plue in my arms. I slipped off my clothes, and got into the bath. The warmth felt so good! Plue had shrunk into wrinkles. An hour later I got out, pulled my hair into a towel, and wrapped a towel around my body. I went into my bedroom where I had been previously painting. What kind of paintings? They where paintings of the people at the guild! I had a painting of every member! But the one that always stood out the most to me was Natsu's. Every time I looked at it, it always reminded me of all the adventures I had gone on with him  and Happy. I've only been a member of Fairy Tail for less than a year now, but everyone treats me like family. Plue disappeared as I walked over to by bed to get some rest from the long day. RING....RING......RING! Who could that be so late at night? I got out of bed and went over to the phone. "Hello?" I said. "Hey, Luce, its me Natsu. Can Happy and I come over to your house?" he asked. "Ya, that's fine," I replied. We both said bye and hung up. That's when I dashed over to the paintings and hid them all in the closet. Taking one last look at Natsu's painting, I ran back to my bed, acting as normal as possible before Natsu and Happy arrived. Why do they want to come over this late? And why did I say yes? I guess I will just talk to them about it when they get here........

         The next day at the guild....

"Lucy, there's something weird going on with Gray and Loke." Natsu said in a whispered tone to me. "What do you mean?" I asked, glancing over to Loke and Gray as they where already looking at me with piercing eyes. "I think they heard you." "No, they have just been watching your every move this morning," Natsu said in a growling voice. Why were Loke and Gray watching me? And why was Natsu the one to notice it? "Why is my beloved staring at you and not me!" Juiva said staring at me with a death glare. "I don't know. Maybe they want to talk to me?" I said, walking towards them. "Hey guys! Did you want to talk?" "Yeah! But we need to go somewhere more private." Loke said looking at Gray. Gray nodded his head as we headed out the guild's entrance.
