The two girls both walked back in to the hospital hand and hand and went straight to Mr. Jauregui. For Lauren it wasn't easy having to give her father the knowledge of him being right but at this moment her pride was the least of her troubles. She had to try and explain to him how and why this occurred this way and what her first move would be. For Camila it was a bit on the harder side. Yes she was able to convince Lauren to finale try and fix her mistake but at what cost. She had no problem accepting the fact that her girlfriend now has a child but what would her parents say. They weren't very thrilled at first with her dating Lauren. How would they react to finding out that the girl also has a 5 month baby who was the product of a rape and that the father is a psychopath who would not hesitate to kill her or anyone who gets in his way of being with Lauren. Her parents knew about the psychopath part yeah but now there is a baby involved and is Camila really ready to take on such a task? She's barely graduated high school and well Lauren hasn't either and buy how the last months have gone, them graduating is really up in the air at this point.

Lauren's POV:

When we walked into the hospital I saw my dad still talking with the police officer who had given him the Folder on Karla and thank heaven he was because I actually had some questions for him about it. I know that when I had given her up the women I talked to was named Blake and she was very understanding of the situation well the situation I had told her that is. The only one who actually knew about the rape at that time had been the doctor who helped me throughout the whole process and delivered Karla other then that the story was that I was too young to take care of her and that I wanted Karla to be put into a loving home where she would never have to see violence in front of her eyes. Unfortunately I guess my wish wasn't for filled since Paul was able to find her and get his hands on my perfect angel. I bet he must have been pissed when he was told her name too. I mean I did name her after the love of my life and well he was never really fond of Camila.

"Ah there they are. Lauren the officer needs the folder back so that they can try and find the baby so that she can be taken to our house with your mom and Taylor" my dad says but I shake my head

"You don't need the folder to find her" I say looking my dad straight in the eye

"What are you talking about I already told you we are getting her back like it or not" he says in a serious tone and I shake my head again

"I never said that we weren't dad I just don't think having the cops going to get her is necessary" I respond and Camila squeezes my hand in support

"Lauren Michelle ya te dije" My dad starts in Spanish

"Mike I think what Lauren is trying to say is that she prefers to go and get her daughter herself" Camila says for me while rubbing my arm slowly

"Really?" My father asks stunned

"I guess I mean so far by what I saw in that folder only 3 people have been in contact with her in the last 5 month one of them being me another being the adoption agency owner and the 3rd being well her father. The only thing is that I don't know for sure if they will give me Karla back" I say

"Karla? Sweet heart are you talking about Camila?" My dad asks confused and I shake my head again with a little smile

"No dad that's the baby's Name. I named her Karla Michelle first name is obviously because of Camila and well the middle name because even though at the time I thought I'd never see her again I wanted her to have a bit of me." I say looking at my dad and watching his eyes water up like a sap

"Ay Mija come here" He says pulling me away from Camila and into a bone crushing hug

"Uh dad can't breath" I tell him as he hugs me harder

"So Mr. Jauregui what should we do then?" The officer asks making my dad let me go and turn to him again

"Well I guess we could try and see if there is anything wrong with those papers Lauren supposedly signed" My dad says and in the corner of my eye I see Camila smirk

"Actually you don't have to try. When Lauren signed she was still a minor remember she's still only 17. For her to put the baby into adoption she would also need consent from her parents. Remember any legal documentation signed by a minor with out the presence of a legal guardian is immiscible to any court and since neither of Lauren's parents were present Lauren legally was not suppose to sign that paper giving away her rights to the baby and if Lauren has any copies of those documents all that has to be done is find the false signed parent consent forms and Lauren gets Karla back" Camila says making every ones jaw drop

"What did I say something wrong?" she asks worried

"Not at all actually everything you said was correct. How old are you again?" the officer asks stunned by Camila's intelligent analysis

"17 why?" she asks

"You basically just told us what a Lawyer with a Harvard Degree would say if we called them at this moment." The cop says and I smirk

"Oh well you're welcome I guess" Camila says shrugging and I just kiss her cheek

"Okay then if that is what we need to do, Lauren do you have copies of those forms?" My dad asks

"Um yeah they are in the night stand in my room at the apartment" I answer scratching my neck with my free hand

"Why are they there?" My dad asks me

"Because that is where I stayed during my last month of pregnancy and the days after I gave Karla up" I answer in a low voice

"Okay well then we have to get those copies fast. How soon do you think you can get back to Miami with your father?" the police man asks

"Actually Camila and I are Leaving for Miami in 2 hours" I answer while looking at my dad

"You need one of your parents present for the judge to deem those documents void" the cop says

"My mom is home" I answer

"but your father says she is still recovering" The man says and I look at my dad again

"My wife is well enough to go to a judge and show him those documents" My dad confirms and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Okay then well I suggest you should head to the airport to catch your flight and get those documents to a judge as quick as possible" The cop says then walks away

"Dad" I say softly

"No let me talk first Lauren" He says

"Um I think I'll wait out side" Camila says starting to let go of my hand

"No you stay too Camila I want you both to hear this. Lauren I'm sorry that your mother and I weren't here when you really needed us. I can't imagine what you went through those 9 months of pregnancy and I am truly sorry for not being the dad I should have been. If I was, you would have never gotten hurt the way you did and none of this would have happened. I know that I can't change the past but I want to change the future if you would still let me. Now I know I'm a bit late on this but would you please let me be your dad and actually help you this time? And I don't just want to help you I want to also be there for the little girl in that picture and maybe also along the way gain my own daughter back. So will you let me do that?" My dad asks as tears fall down his eyes.
