Chapter 10

Jerome's p.o.v.

"Jerome  hdjdan out there. One secdbdbd were fbdind and we were talking how did thisNHL xjs jd ," Preston was talking really fast and I was having trouble understanding him. Brandon and Choco were trying to calm him down, but I was more worried about Choco; it looks like he was about to pass out. "Choco I'm okay take a deep breath," I said softly. I feel like I'm the older one but I'm just 14 and they're 15. Choco grips his crown tighter "I...I just.. worried about you I don't wa-want to lose you," he cried. Even though I was out of breath I made my way to Choco to give him a hug. "What's with all of the noi-" my auntie asked as she enters the cave. "Oh, my stars what happen!" She demanded. Suddenly I got myself a headache "Oh it was nothing Auntie... In.. Infinity.." darkness overwhelmed my sight.

Third person

"Brandon go fetch your uncle now," Infinity commoned her son. Brandon didn't need to be told twice; he ran out of the cave. Preston and Choco were holding each other trying to find confront, while Infinity looked worried about her nephew.

*Time skip*

"My lord our best warrior has fallen what should we do?" The chief of the village was sitting in his seat, reading his scrolls. He looked up for a moment seeing his second in command shivering in fear. "Okay...Nothing else? " The Chief questioned. "N-no sir," he stuttered. The Chief simply nod and continued to read his scrolls. "Wait!" Someone yelled both of the powerful baccas turned around to be greeted by an anxious young slime. "What is Brandon, " Domain asked his nephew. Brandon looked scared just for a second as he saw the second in command shivering in fear. "Jerome...he woke up b-but he suddenly black out again!" Domain quickly sat up straight. His fur was puff out as if he's scared of something. "Let's go, Brandon! Kyle grab some gunpowder and some lava rocks NOW!" He ordered. Kyle quickly nods and hurried off. Domain grabs his magic book off of his desk and went out the door, company by Brandon.

*Time skip*

Once the three males made it home, it was moon high. Screams echoed the walls of the cave so they wasted no time to get in. Legacy and Infinity were holding Jerome in place. The poor bacca was clawing his fur out leaving some bare spots. If you looked closely you can see the blood on the ground and on Jerome's mouth. Domain was ready to break down as he saw his son conditions. "Uncle Domain! I swear to the stars I don't know what happened. H-he was fine w-when me and him... talking... I'm s-so sorry," Preston cried. Preston looked horrible; his skin was a deadly red/black color. Domain wanted to ask so many questions but he doesn't want to bring himself to do that as his nephew was in this state. He places his paw on top of Preston's head "it's okay " he said softly. Domain looked up to see his mate in pain. "Legacy after I do this you will never forgive me," Domain flutter in worry. Kyle was behind Domain with a separation potion but hidden behind his back. "What do you mean!" Legacy cried. Jerome's scream said it all. His father reaches behind Kyle's back to grab the potion and throw it as he chants the spell.

This will give you pain
You will feel empty inside
But this will be the best
You have now been cursed by the broken dust.
Soulmates were picked by the moon goddess. Now you have lost yours...

Jerome's body gone limb. His object slowly turns a black ugly color; losing its beautiful glow. The last glimpse of love was now replaced with death and revenge and it's because of his father.....
