"Today I shall properly show you how to do a Warrior Ceremony. This takes place after an apprentice training to be a warrior has been doing so for at least six moons. The apprentice must then complete a test their mentor assigns them; such as catching three nice before dawn in a certain part of the territory. Time and time again I see mentors skip the test, the very action that proves they are ready to be a full warrior of the clan. After the apprentice has completed or surpassed the requirements the leader of the clan then calls a clan meeting. The leader traditionally tells the new warrior of their good traits or virtues such as being honored for their bravery or kindness. If the apprentice declines they cannot be a warrior." -A Lost Soul
The following is stated by the leader and apprentice :
Leader: I, _____star, leader of ____Clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in (his/her) turn. ___paw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. _____paw, from this moment you will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full warrior of ____Clan.
