Only You

Chapter 8

I started pacing the room as Madison and Mandy's eyes watched me intently from the bed.

"What are you going to do?" Mandy asks me

"What can she do? they've already done the nasty" Madison laughed. I looked over at her, wondering why she's laughing. "Come on, this is kind of funny. I mean, I was about to beat Hailey's ass for being stupidly jealous and then Katelyn's for not minding her own business, and then BAM!" she froze, emphasizing the word "Christian and Hailey got dirty" she laughed rolling over on the bed. I couldn't help my smile.

"You're so weird, Maddy. He told you he had sex before right?" Mandy asked me

"Yeah, that was no secrete. I don't mind that he's experienced, I kind of like that, but Hailey?"

"So he lied to you?" Mandy asked

"No, he just didn't tell me it was with her" I was still pacing around the room. I was trying to figure out whether or not I should be upset.

"Can you blame him? he's obviously ashamed of it if none of the guys knew. Which means he hasn't told anyone or bragged about it." Madison murmured

"Christian wouldn't brag about sex" Mandy told her

"Don't you think I know that? You've known him for a few weeks and I've known his since Grade 2" Madison rolled her eyes

"You didn't even recognize him" Mandy replied

"Guys, seriously? Not now." I mumbled.

A knock came at the door. "Baby"

His voice melted my heart. His voice sounded both scared and anxious. I stopped pacing around the room and walked to the door, pressing my body against it. I wanted to be in his arms again.

"Please, I just want to talk" his voice was low and full of misery.

"Not right now" I whispered unwillingly.

"I just want to see you and make sure you're okay" pleaded through the door

"I'm fine, Christian. Goodnight" I waited for his reply but there was only silence

"I'll be here when you're ready"

I turned back to Mandy and Madison. They were pouting with sad eyes.

"The poor guy..." Mandy blubbered

I rolled my eyes at her as I go to sit on the bed with them.

Its been a few hours and we are still talking about it along with other things.

"Do you think Christian was Hailey's first?" I asked looking up at the ceiling

"He's not. The first guy she had sex with was a senior when she was a freshmen" Madison responded

"How do you know that?" Mandy asked

"Even though we can't stand each other, she tells me things. They're mostly things she brags about but nonetheless"

"Liam asked me to marry him" Mandy murmured

"What?!"

"You're joking! You guys are like high school sweethearts who gets married now" I laughed

"What did you say? OMG, are you pregnant?"

"I am"

I turned on the bed a bit too fast and fell off the edge.

"STOP LYING!" Madison implored getting off the bed and standing on her feet. She glared down at Mandy waiting for the truth.
