mawberry silkshake.

something
about a milkshake,
the swirls and the sweetness
lady dropped it on the floor
so i got her a new one
she had an incredible smile
and a body shaped like
the curvy glass it was in
(not the one smashed on
the floor, mind you)

about an auburn August
sunset ablaze by stars and
orange sky, the passing of the sun
into the margins of the dark
page written by the moonlight
i dont got much hesitation
in my bones as i crept out
the shelter of sorrow, woe-isnt-me
yet i've forgotten to love
and to give, but remember giving
is love.
