Amy’s P.O.V
I put on some makeup anxiously. Matt was truly the first guy my parents would meet. What if our families hated each other? I shook my head trying to clear it. I sighed. It’d be fine, right?
“Nervous?” Devin asked from my door.
“Yeah, a bit. I mean, this is the first time anything has happened.” I turned to face my brother.
He smiled at me. “It’ll be fine. My mom and dad told me they like him.” He encouraged. “And when I talked to him he seemed like a pretty standup kid.”
I felt my cheeks flush. “What did he say to you?” I asked curiously.
He smiled. “He told me to respect you.” He straightened up. “And you two haven’t had sex?” He sounded interested.
I nodded. “He wants to wait.”
Devin chuckled. “It’s been like a month, hasn’t it?” He teased.
I laughed. “Almost. In like four days.” I smiled.
“Keeping track.” I heard Brad say. He entered the room pecked Devin on the lips and walked over to kiss my cheek. I’ve always liked Brad. With his charming looks and truthful, bubbly personality, but I never would’ve guessed he was with my brother. “I like him.” Brad grinned.
“Hey! Don’t you dare go near him.” I stuck out my tongue, jokingly.
They both laughed. “Honey, Matt’s family is here.” My mother called from downstairs. I inhaled nervously.
“Okay.” I got up. “Let me put on my dress.” I rushed them out before slipping on my peach colored dress. It was tight against my body and accentuated my curves. I grabbed my flats and checked myself in the mirror once more before heading downstairs. I could see Matt’s parents as I went downstairs. They both had dark hair like Matt. I could see Matt had similar bone structure to his father. His mother was small and slim, her hair was up to her waist.
“Hey, beautiful.” Matt whispered as I reached the bottom of the stairs. I jumped a bit. He chuckled and pulled me into him. He kissed me gently. “You look gorgeous.” He said huskily.
I giggled. “Thank you.” I blushed. I kissed him. After we broke apart, I scanned him. He wore a dark blue, button down shirt and a black pair of skinny jeans. “Damn, you’re looking sexy.” I said flirtatiously.
He chuckled. “Let’s get back to everyone before I’m tempted to take you right here.” He intertwined our hands.
“Fingers crossed.” I said sarcastically. He chuckled.
“Mom. Dad. This is Amelia.” Matt introduced me by my full name.
His parents spun to see me. “Wow, you’re beautiful!” His mother said excitedly.
I giggled. “Thank you! It’s so nice to meet you both, Matt has said so many kind things about you.”
His father smiled. “Ditto.”
I smiled. My father pulled them away to discuss business. Devin and Brad passed by giving us a wink before heading out. Matt and I follow our parents out to their car. I held my breath. Hopefully this wouldn’t be so bad.
Abby’s P.O.V
“Hmmm.” Pacen groaned. I laughed.
“It isn’t that good.” I said.
