I look at Four horrified as he looks at me as if debating on what to do next, he finally removes his hand from my stomach making me breath in deeply. He goes to finally talk and I stop him abruptly "Not here, my place" I mumble getting a nod from him.
I take off at a fast walk with Four hot on my heels as we weave in and out of dauntless. I have a million things going through my head as I try and figure out what to say to him when we arrive at our destination. I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear "Jade!!!" I stop and look at Eric who looks like he needs to talk to me like now I look at him and almost give in when I feel a push on my back as Four walks beside me with his arm around the small of my back causing me to look him "Just keep walking Jade" he whispers and I look back at Eric as he yells at me again but now he's pissed looking as he glares at Four.
"JADE!" I hear one more time but then we start off as an almost Jog once we slip through the crowd and within two m inutes, we were in my apartment where I sit down putting my hands on my face contemplating on my life.
"You're pregnant" Four whispers to me making a tear fall as it finally sinks in, I nod at him as he shakes his head in disbelief.
"How did this happen?" He asks making my roll my eyes "Well when two people love each oth-"
"No!! I'm talking about how could you let this happen?"
"What do mean how could I let this happen? I made a human being with my husband Four and I understand that means not only am I responsible for my own life but I'm now responsible for his or hers now as well. I'm not an idiot I mean come on I did come from Erudite"
Four sighs but then sits by me and smirks "Uncle Four" He says as he puts his hand on my stomach yet again
"How far along?"
"Four months"
"Wow" He says as he is still smiling at me "Eric excited?" I loose my smile and he notices and sighs again "Eric doesn't know" he answers his own question and I nod. "Why?" "We're not on great terms still, Jeanine has him right where she wants him"
He looks at me like he knows something and I look at him suspiciously "What do you know?" he looks down now "Let me show you something" I nod my head and stand up "Let's go" He smirks "It'll require an overnight stay"
"Why?" "You'll see in the morning plus we can have best friend bonding time" I nod my head and grab comfy pajamas "Let's go then bestie"
On the way out of my door, Four puts his arm back around the small of my back making me look at him as he looks at me "What? I feel obligated to make sure no one hurts you now even more" I chuckle "I'm not fragile Four" "I know"
What either of us failed to see as we walked into his apartment joking around was my husband standing in the shadows making assumptions.

I ended up taking a shower and getting in my pajamas as soon as we got inside, Four followed but had dinner ready for me while he went and ate, I smirked at him knowing he'll make an amazing husband and father someday. Tris will probably be the lucky girl, I dislike her but see how she makes my best friend feel so I can't hate her.
I look at Four as he plops down on the couch with two pieces of dauntless cake and stare back at me "Any names picked out yet?" I look at him like he's crazy as I snatch my piece.
"Negative, haven't got that far still processing it all" He nods his head and smirks again taking a bite of cake.
" What abouttt Ryan for a boy and Jewel for a girl" I look at him like he's lost it and laugh making him look at me
"What?"
"You are the worst name picker ever, I fear for your offspring my friend"
He folds his arms over his chest and glares "Alright then, you try it out"
"I will using references you just gave me, how abouttt Orion for a boy and Ruby for a girl"
Four smirks and nods his head "Very fitting for your children" I smile "Why thank you"
We both laugh and cut up the rest of the night until I passed out on the couch with my feet on Four.

I am jolted awake by Four pushing on my shoulder "Jade, wake up it's time" I groan as I sit up and look around rubbing my eyes
"Where am I?" I groan as Four chuckles causing me to glare "My place remember?" I think about it and nod sleepily as i stand up to where he's looking out a window and automatically.
"What's Erudite doing here? and what are they bringing in that box?" I whisper as Four looks at me then out the window to outside in the alley where there's a van full of Erudite scientists and a box they carry inside an garage door where Eric accepts them willingly "I think they're up to something and please don't get mad but I think Eric and Jeanine are behind it" I look at him but nod my head
"God I hope you're wrong"
He looks at me as I stare down at Eric coldly.

After an hour or so I get dressed and decide to look for looser fitting clothing I get to the door when Four grabs my arm
"If things get bad like I think they will, you need to get out of here Jade, promise me you will? I will help you in any way"
I nod my head letting him know and walk out the door, I make it ten steps before I hear an evil sounding chuckle causing me to whirl around.
"So you start sleeping with the stiff once things get rough huh?" I stare at the culprit and glare
"I'm not you Eric, i'm a loyal person to the end, that's what's going to get me killed someday"
'Then why did you stay the night with him huh?" "How do you know I did?" I've been watching you since you blatantly ignored me and I watched you walk into his apartment"
"Ooohhhh someone is jealous?"
Before I can keep up the insults, Eric puts both hands on the sides of my face and says low in a deep voice "no I just protect what's mine" and kisses me with passion. I start to melt a little and he knows it so he moves his hands down my body to my ass and lift me up as I now hold his face in my hands and keep kissing him.
After a few minutes, he breaks the kiss and puts his forehead on mine and looks into my eyes
"I love you baby please let's work this out, i'll change I swear" he whispers and I gain all thoughts back as I remember him and Jeanine, him and the divergent girl and I push myself down causing him to look at me confused as I kiss him again
"I love you too Eric" I push him away a little
"but it's really over this time" and I run into my apartment away from the world
