So far I've seen the pack house duh, the elders' houses, the playground, and the first circle of trees sounding the center.

"What're we looking at next?" I ask Jay.

"I'm going to show you around the other houses" he answers as we jog.

"Who lives there?" I ask

"Umm the unmated werewolves live here. They made it so it connects to the pack house but is a little farther away. When they find their mate, they move out. If they aren't of high ranking or anything."

"But everything was already there when I got there." I point out.

"Yes well since I'm part of the top three ranks, I got to design and stock my room, so when my mate comes it will be ready to move into" he explains.

"Oh. And have you been avoiding the house that connects to the pack house?" I question him.

"Um... Well.... Kinda" he says.

I open my mouth to say that he's an idiot, but he cuts me off.

"Hey, look we're here"

As we walk by the houses a few people say hi to Jay, but they look at me weirdly. Soon they start to stare.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" I whisper to Jay.

"Because you haven't been introduced as part of the pack yet" he whispers back.

I start to get uncomfortable and I think Jay senses it. He growls loudly and they all get the message. All of them turn around and continue to do what they were doing before.

"Come on. I'll show you around the woods" he tells me and leads me off.

Ok I think I know my way around pretty well.

"Hey, Jay, let's play a game of tag!"

"As long as you don't get too close to the border, fine"

"Yeah," I fist pump and run off, but not before shouting, "You're it!".

I run and run and run. He is a considerable amount of distance behind me. I almost trip when I stop suddenly. I see a little pond with rocks going across it. There are some cat tail growing around it. It looks just like the one that used to be by my house. Not my old pack house, but when I was a rouge living with my family before the rouge 'pack' attacked us.

I sit down beside it as the memories start to flows back and I start crying like a waterfall. I miss my family and how my life was. Can you imagine your whole world being ripped out from under you like that?

Jay walks up slowly and doesn't say anything. He sits down beside me and hugs me close. I lean into him accepting his embrace. With his other hand, he uses his thumb and wipes away my tears. I look up to him and he looks down at me.

Well it's now of never. "Isla." I sighed out.

He looks at me questioning, not trusting himself to speak.

"My name. It's Isla"

"Oh. Well come here my little rouge and tell your Jay Jay what's wrong" he says

I chuckle a bit at his choice of words.

"This looks exactly like the pond by my old house," I start.

"Shouldn't that be happy?" He asks

I shake my head 'no' and continue
"It was also the place were I saw my family being slaughtered when I was six."

"Oh" is all he says until he continues, "So you were a rouge by force, not by choice"

"Yeah and the rouge "alpha" is still looking for me" I say putting quotes around alpha.

"Well how about I take you home and clear up the whole not trusting a rouge thing with my pack. Is that ok?"

I nod in response. He helps me get up and I lean into him as we walk back to the pack house.
