Chapter Sixteen
Calum's POV

The door opens and Cecilia runs in.

"Daddy! Nurse Nina got me ice cream!" she squeals.

"Wow thats so cool" I smile tiredly.

Cece stops running and just stands still for moment.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and get up.

Cecilia falls to the floor.

I quickly run towards her and catch her head before it hits the ground.

Her nurse quickly press a button on her key chain and rushes over to Cece.

"She's okay Calum, she's just a little bit week from her
treatment session, running around doesn't help much"

Lucy's POV

"Mummy!" Nadia calls.

"What?" I reply.

"I'm hungry" she says.

"Get your own food!" I say.

"But mum! I can't reach the cupboards and I'm not allowed to use the oven!"

I groan and get off the couch walking into the kitchen.

I pull open the fridge and sigh as it's almost empty.

"Nadia, Aidan do you want to go out for lunch?" I ask.

"Yeah!" The twins yell.

"Okay, get dressed and put your shoes and sweaters on" I say.

I head into Liam's room and gently pick his sleeping body up.

I lay him on the change table and take off his pyjama's before changing his bum.

He slowly wakes up.

"Mum!" he says sleepily with a huge smile.

"Hi baby" I smile and kiss his chubby cheeks.

He squeals as I dress him in some sweats and a tee shirt before putting a sweater on over top.

I put his socks and shoes on him before picking him up and bring him into the living room.

I set him down before going into the Mucy bedroom and grabbing a sweater pulling it on.

I slip on some shoes before grabbing my phone and wallet.

I head back into the living room and grab my car keys before picking up Liam.

"Okay lets go!" I say.

We head out to the car, I held Liam in my arms and held Aidan's hand as Nadia held onto Aidan's hand.

Paparazzi are quick to start asking questions and taking pictures.

I quickly unlock the car and open the door allowing Nadia and Aidan to climb in before I buckle Liam in.

I get into the car and start it before driving to McDonalds.

Calum's POV

"Where the hell are we going daddy?" Cece asks.

"It's a surprise, close your eyes" I say.

She nods as I push her wheel chair down the halls towards the back doors.

In the back of the hospital is a small park. Not a park with a play ground but a park to take a walk in.

I push her wheel chair outside.

"Daddy its really cold in here" Cece shivers.

I shrug off my sweater and place it on her.

"Thanks" Cece says.

I smile at Ashlyn who was walking down the path towards us.

Blue barks.

"What the fuck? Daddy why is there a dog in the hospital?" Cecilia asks.

I laugh.

"We aren't in the hospital anymore, open your eyes" I say.

Cecilia opens her eyes and gasps.

"Blue!" Cecilia yells.

Ashlyn lets go of Blue's leash and he runs towards Cece jumping onto her.

Cece squeals and laughs as Blue licks her face.

I grab Blue's leash incase she tries to run.

Ashlyn walks over to me and I peck her lips before grabbing her hand.

I smile as I watch Cecilia petting and playing with Blue.
