A Shock

Romans POV

I had heard the whispers about what the Hound had done. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to talk to her but I had hardly seen her and she was always in company and to be honest I didn't know what she would do. It had been a few days since the locker room incident and not many dared to approach her... apart from Sting and Taker as well as Dean and Renee. I was grateful she kept up her friendship with them. 

After the kiss Paige had asked me out. I told her no and that I was not looking so she suggested a friends with benefits idea. To be honest she was screwable but I still said no. In my heart I knew I loved The Hound, my Cassidy. " But you hurt her" My subconscious sneered. Snarky bastard.

I walked into catering with Dean and there sitting with a cup of coffee and reading her text messages was the Hound and to my amazement she was actually alone. Everyone was keeping their distance. I approached her

"Hi" I managed to blurt

She turned cold eyes to me "Roman"

"Can we talk?"

"I suppose unless that is you have some bit of stuff you need to be with."

Silence had fallen. Eyes were watching

"Paige was a stupid mistake on my part... I felt miserable and it just happened. I felt horrible that I walked away when you needed me, I wanted to go public with you but I was scared of how people would react and make you feel."

"If you were any kind of man that would not have bothered you!" she had virtually growled at me.

"That came out wrong. I'm in love with you Hound."

"Look Roman you made your feelings clear and I am not going to set myself up to have my heart torn out yet again. I've shed enough tears "

That shocked me it hurt I had made her cry. I reached out but she pulled away "please don't"

I could see it hurt her to say those two words. But I knew I was seriously in her bad books

Just at that moment Vince's PA appeared

" I need a word with you Hound" The Hound looked startled but nodded

She cleared her throat "There are two people here to see you... A Jackie and Michael Legends."

The Hound stilled "What did you say?" her voice a whisper.

The girl repeated it. Shrinking under Hounds cold gaze. 

"Please don't hurt me...." That poor girl looked terrified. The Hound moved her head telling the girl to scram.

"Thank you Sandy I will take it from here" Vince said sternly.

The Hound for the first time I had known looked at Vince with fear in her eyes. "Wha, when How?"

"They got the letter and they realized and put two and two together. They heard WWE was in town and decided to come and see."

"who are they Hound?" Renee gently asked

The Hound looked at her with tortured eyes "My parents..."

A gasp of shock went through everyone.... Her mother and father here?!

"Would you like to see them?" Vince put a hand on her shoulder

She was quiet for a few moments.

"Can they come here? Its somewhere public so to speak and I feel kinda safer"

Vince nodded.

"Can I ask everyone to just act normal please, this is going to be difficult" Vince squeezed her shoulder gently "if they give you any hassle just yell and I will have them removed"
