Romans Pov.

I had decided what I was going to do and spoke to Vince, who drafted in Dean and Renee, who had an important job in getting Hound to watch the monitors. I told Sting and Taker what I had planned and they were astonished... I was going bigger than they had expected of me... But they both gave their blessing but warned me they would not tolerate me hurting her again... If I did they would bury me and to be honest I believed them. 

Anyway it was an incredible night, Rookies vs Veterans, Veteran Free For All as well as many other matches. My time came to come on, taking a mike i had never felt so nervous.

"You enjoying tonight guys?" The fans cheered 

" I have something I need to say. Nearly a year ago an amazing wrestler and fighter came into all of our lives, this young woman had been through hell and back. Many had judged her, many had hurt her but through it all she was always there to love and protect everyone... All she asked was to be accepted. For five months I dated her. And they were the best five months I have ever known."

The crowd cheered.

The Hound appeared on the big screen watching a monitor with Dean and Renee.

"But she got sick and like so many before me I behaved like a total ass and rejected her... The biggest mistake I ever made. She forgave me that. Then there was a kissing incident"

The big screen played Paige basically taking advantage of me

"Again this beautiful woman forgave me. But again and again I hurt her. Then she had an operation and facing certain death triumphed. I behaved like an ass sleeping with anything... another really bad decision on my part. I lost her"

The crowd booed 

"When she made her return I was miserable not because she was back but because I knew she would never have listened to me I even went far enough to think she would tear me a new ass hole, but instead I didn't exist to her. That was worse. Not hearing her voice in love only in work mode. I missed seeing her smile with me. I missed her love and her kiss. I was a wreck. A few weeks ago she began talking to me again. But not how she used to."

More boo's

"I know I should have been there for you and I know I treated you badly, but please know I will never break your heart again. I want to put my arms around you and love you like you deserve to be loved. No amount of money can buy the incredible feelings I have around you." Tears slipped down my face

"Hound.. I know you can hear me and see me please baby girl... give me that one last chance. I will do anything you want me to to win your heart back... I would even do a naked Tapdance in the middle of winter in Alaska"

I watched her on the big screen

She had tears in her eyes but was smiling slightly.

"I love you Hound wait... Let me correct myself... I'm IN love with you. I knew the first time I kissed you. The first time you put your arms round me smiling... Even when you dunked me in Deans swimming pool."

She chuckled a teary laugh. 

The crowd were slowly getting behind me

"Hound I want you in my life forever... and i want us to tackle anything... together... Believe that." I put down the Microphone and suddenly the Hounds music hit... and there she was standing on  the ramp looking towards me ... flanked by the Hall of Famers The veterans and all the WWE Superstars. 

She walked down the ramp and came into the ring... The fans were cheering and clapping.

She looked me straight in the eye and grabbed a mike

"Did you mean what you just said?"

"Every word baby girl... every word."

She stepped forwards and cupped my face and slowly, so slowly pressed her lips to mine. The crowd went wild cheering , WWE superstars, veterans and Hall of Famers ran down cheering and clapping.

I snaked my arms around her,and deepened the kiss so she felt everything I felt.

Dean was jumping around like a cheerleader. Confetti came fluttering down from the roof. It was amazing.

When we came up for air, everyone was high fiving and grinning I put my head on hers and raised my other arm in victory. She had her arm round my waist smiling

"HE DID IT!! HE DID IT!! OH MY GOD!!" JR yelled

We left the ring hand in hand and went backstage to thunderous cheers and applause.

Backstage I kissed her once more and felt everything was right with the world

I had my love, My Hound My Cassidy back and I would never again hurt her or let her go...
