Chapter 9

Penny's POV

   Callie keeps texting and calling me, but I refuse to answer any of them because if I do, it'll only break her heart even more. Callie is strong so I know that with time, she will find the woman or man she deserves. I'm so lucky to have been able to have dated her for a month and a half.

    Now you're probably wondering where I'm heading next. Well I'll tell you. I resigned from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital three hours ago and packing my belongings. I'm moving to Minnesota. They offered me a great job at Mayo, which is one of the best hospitals in the country. That is the only good thing that came out of this to be honest. 

    My flight leaves at 11 tomorrow morning and the moving truck is coming by at 7 to help transport my furniture and heavy machinery. I don't want to leave, but I know that it's the best thing I can do to help everyone heal. I'm only a reminder of their biggest loss, Derek.
