Chapter 19
Arizona's POV
The next morning...
My daily alarm goes off at 6 am. I groan and slap the snooze button wanting nothing more than ten minutes extra to sleep. The thing is I know that if I don't get up immediately, I won't have time to shower, eat breakfast, and get ready. Callie and I have slightly different schedules. She doesn't have to be up for another two hours unless it's an emergency. I envy her for that. It's because there tend to be more sick kids than people with broken bones. It's sad, but true.
30 minutes later...
I've managed to get in a five minute shower, my clothes on, checked to see if Sofia is still sleeping, and to scarf down a bagel with cream cheese. Getting all of that done in just a half hour is a serious skill that very few people have.
10 minutes later...
I arrive at the hospital, clock in, and immediately start working on charts for a bit until rounds start. Chaos is going on all around me. Nurses and doctors are running a muck. I can tell that today is going to be yet another eventful day.
