Looking through new eyes (Bleach x OC)

Chapter 4: Totally Not Stalking Her

(Ichigo's POV)

After we talked about who I was going to protect, I returned to my dad's clinic to see who she was. To not look like a stalker, I just simply let Kon into my body for a bit to make sure that it didn't seem like I was running around like an idiot. It probably never works anyway, so why not let it seem like I'm alive?

In my spirit body (or soul reaper body, IDK), I went to the clinic to see Christa. She was a brunette, definitely not short, and pretty much how the picture dictated. She obviously didn't seem relaxed, since she basically was in a coma after all. Her family always visited whenever they had the chance, and when I was in my normal body, my dad would occasionally ask me to change the flowers set aside on a table for her. It seems that she really likes lilies since the flowers I had to change were always lillies.

I had to do these things for a week or so, and one day, she woke up from her coma.

I was in my soul reaper body (soul reaper body it is then) for two reasons when she woke up. The first was that I basically had to stand guard to make sure no hollows or anyone tried to hurt her. Her family was also there, hence the other reason I was in my soul reaper body. No one wants to be mistakened as a stalker, especially not me- I have a reputation to uphold.

Her hands were starting to subtly twitch a bit, and then her eyelids. She woke up, but then it seemed as if she could see me. Obviously, I'm not sure of what happened exactly, but I swear that she started to say, "who are you?" It was confusing, since it was said in another language that wasn't Japanese. English, I think.

Her family was basically all over her and were really happy that she woke up. What made everyone, even me shocked or worried was what she said after her parents asked if she was okay and happy that she was alive.

Those words, which formed a question was, "Mom, who is that person in black that is standing in midair?"

Stop- wait a second......... did she just asked who I was? How was that possible? Wasn't she in a coma or something? Also, how was I able to comprehend that?

Her mom said that it was only them, and she answered that it must have been simply the light, and just kept going on about her life, and etc. Hey, its not like I'll intrude on her personal life. I went back to composing myself to not seem weak.

I was ignoring everything until the very end, when I heard, "Is it possible to see spirits? since i was close to death anyway?" (don't judge, I'm relying on memory here) She was looking at me basically the whole time she asked and received an answer.

*sigh* That girl, I tell ya, she's gonna be interesting to protect, and probably annoying.
