Chapter 5: Deep Thinking (not really)

(Rukia's POV)

After telling Ichigo what to do, I went to Urahara to see if I could communicate with the Soul Society. Captain Kurotsuchi informed me that the Senkaimon will take a while to stabilize and that I shouldn't need to worry about a thing. Afterwards, Captain Hitsugaya came and I was able to speak to him.

"Since the Senkaimon is stabilizing pretty slowly compared to normal, I will be able to come at the earliest in two to 3 weeks. Then, I will be able to further investigate his matter. Lieutenant Matsumoto and Lieutenant Abarai will be able to arrive in a week or 2. Please Rukia, keep my Leuitenant in check. Who knows what trouble she will be getting into," Captain Hitsugaya said.

"Alright, I will keep that in mind," I said. *sigh* Rangiku, huh? It sure will be lively here.

(Time skip to when Christa wake up)

I was staying in Ichigo's house when he came back from being a sentry guard at his dad's clinic.

"Hey Ichigo, you came back earlier than normal, what happened? Was the girl too beautiful for you to handle?" I said, smirking the whole time.

"No. As a matter of fact, Is it possible for someone who couldn't see spirits all of a sudden see spirits when they get out of a coma? And not just spirits, but also soul reapers?" He asked, eyebrows furrowed in concentration and thought.

"Are you implying that the girl can see spirits and soul reapers?" I asked, shocked to see that something was going on.

"Yes, I am," Ichigo answered, "and not only that, it seems that she is the only one in her family to see me. When she woke up, she must have seen me. at the end of her conversation with her family, she even asked if it was possible to see spirits and whatnot since she went into a coma- all the while looking at me!"

"It seems that the girl got to you, Ichigo," I said. It was really funny teasing him like that. But if what he said was true, she would also be able to see the people who attacked her- which could be alive or dead. It might help, but we don't want her to worry over it.

"Do you know what school she goes to now?" I asked, hoping it would be at our school so that we can still watch her.

"I'm not sure, but I think it's at our school. That's the most likely choice for her parents I guess if they moved here," he answered. "One quick question, am I able to comprehend other languages while I as a soul reaper?"

"Yeah it's possible, or else it would be impossible to understand non-Japanese folk," I answered.

"Do you wanna drink something?" he asked me. "Sure," I replied. Since we were in the living room, he stood up to get something to drink.

A crash and an, "IIIIchiiiiigooooo," was what I heard when Ichigo's father came crashing into his own home. As always, Ichigo always fended off his attack as if it was nothing.

"What the hell dad?!?!?!?!" Aren't you supposed to still be working?!?!?!" yelled Ichigo.

"You know perfectly well that you have to be ready for anything Ichigo! Right Masaki?" he replied while he was doting on Masaki's blown up picture. 

Suddenly composing himself again, he said, "you know that girl whose flowers you had to change right? She woke up today and her parents want me to introduce her to you and Rukia since she will be in your classes."

"How old is she?" I asked, trying to feign ignorance. We already knew that she was sixteen though.

"She's only fifteen, but will be in your classes- well most of them actually- because she is so smart- unlike you Ichigo," replied Ichigo's father, "I'll be going back now. She's gonna be disharged in a few days, so a few days before school starts, introduce her to your friends- if you have any."

Ichigo's father left and me and Ichigo were alone in the living room again.

"Damn geezer," said Ichigo as he sighed. His family sure is interesting.

A/N: I kinda made it so that they could understand her when she talks in english, but that's only in soul reaper form. Otherwise, it wouldn't be as fun if Ichigo was in his normal body and understand everything in English or Spanish.
