Bri's POV
Today was the last day of spring break meaning Luke would be leaving later today
Right now I'm currently listening to kids in the dark by All Time Low
My phone made a sound indicating I had new message .
Lucas💏: hey babe wanna hang out before I leave ?
Me: yea sure where should I meet you ?
Lucas💏: on your doorstep ill poco you in 5
Me: lol Kk Lucas ❤️
Lucas: 😘❤️
"What to wear ,what to wear?" I ask no one in particular while looking through my closet .
I pull out a black oversize shirt with some white shorts and some black ankle boots. When i'm ready I start walking outside then receive a call 'Mom' the caller ID read.
"hey mom how's it going" i answered
" hey sweetie it's so beautiful over here i miss you guys!"
"we miss you to mother ! i actually went to see Matt in auntie Claire's house he has his own room now and he loves it there "
" That's good sweetie "
" so mom when are you coming home ?"
"Actually sweetie that's what I wanted to talk about"
" what do you mean?" i asked clueless
"well the work over here is taking a lot more longer then i thought it was meaning i wouldn't be home for a while i might just make it in time for when you graduate which wont be until next year but if there has been any change of plans i would call you right away ."
i was speechless i didn't know what to say
" i already told Claire about this and Matt was fine with it i love sweetheart ill send some money each month behave" and with that the call ended.
i cant believe this. The pro: sending money every month. The con: she might not even make it to my High School graduation . Well I guess she's doing this for me and Matt so thats fine i guess.
I hear a horn honk snapping me out of my thoughts. I open the door and locked it behind me.
A grin is placed on Lukes lips when I get in his car.
"Hey beautiful" he says and gives me a peck on the lips
"Hey" I reply and kiss him back.
"What do you want to do ?" He asks
" I don't know it's your last day today you choose" I respond with a sad smile
"Hey it's alright babe I'll be back before you know it. How about we go have a picnic at Central Park yea?"
"Yea sure that's sounds nice let me go upstairs and get a blanket "
I came back with a red plaid blanket and we were on our way to Central Park . On our way to Central Park we stop buy the market to buy some food.
The drive was so peaceful Luke rested his hand on my thigh and I held on his hand not wanting this day to ever end.
