Light as a feather

I fell forever until I landed in your arms.

Through the stars and across the universe,

I tumbled alone

Afraid of the fall,

Afraid to face the long climb back.

Stones lay heavy on my shoulders,

Making the spins all the faster,

Alice in her hole.

Deeper and deeper,

Spinning out of control.

My fears were catching up to me,

Torment tearing at my eyes.

Burdens pushing me further..

And then,

When you caught me the world grew light.
