in the next couple days winter was slowly starting to make its way into this part of gnarnia. even saint Nicholas stopped by the castle to give out a few gifts.
unlike normal Christmas gifts saint nick gave everyone presents that would help them in their battle.
for Naomi he gave a special elixir that can cure any wound, for tom he gave one of the most amazing swords in the world, for alaura he gave a bow and arrow, for john he gave a special book that contained the strengths and weaknesses of everyone in gnarnia.
Philip received hoof protectors and lastly Lewis was given one of his fathers old armors.
everyone was enjoying their gifts until one of the palace guards came running through the castle in distress.
"what is it, Noah?" asked Lewis
"its the red witches army, they were spotted about 100 miles away, they should be here in only a few days......its a surprise attack!!!" was all he managed to puff out
"thank you Noah, go prepare the troops i want them ready as soon as possible !" ordered lewis
Noah nodded and was off
"and you four" Lewis turned to the four powerless children "come with me we still have lots of preparation to do....I'm afraid this battle is not gonna be as easy as i thought"................
