Chapter 2

I wake up on the floor of my room. I don't really know how or when I got there but I get right up to get washed. I went to the dinning room where my mom and my brother were already eating. The news was on in the living room.

"Good morning sweet heart" my mom said. For some reason she sounded happier then before

"Morning mom. Jason" I said

"Anna," he said with a smile.

"Mom you sound happier then normal today. What's up?"

"Well my boss called me yesterday and I just got a raise on my salary and I'm the new assignment manager of the company." she exclaimed

"Congrats mom" I said

"Thank you sweetheart" she said with a smile on her face. "Well I'm off to work now you two be good ok?"

"Ok" we both said at the same time

Before she leaves she gives us both hugs and goes towards the door. But before she leaves she turns around to tell me that Jason is going to a friends house in 10 minutes and wanted to let me know in advance. I said OK and she left the house. When she left and drove off my brother pick up his plate and washed it and went up to his room to get ready to leave. I went to the kitchen to make something to eat when I heard the door bell ring.

"Already" I said to myself

As I went to the door I opened it to see my best friend at the door. I almost forgot that one of my friends lives here. Her name is Rachel and she lived here for a year now. She moved cause her dad got a job down here. She is one of my closes friends and I was devastated when she left. She looked really mad. I guess it's cause I didn't tell her I was moving here. I let her in and she started to look around.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were moving here?!" She said angry. "I found out from Kyle that you moved here and from your brother where you lived."

She was still looking around when she said that

"Well sorry you know that my mom and dad was getting a divorce so I was thinking about that and me moving here was even worse. And I couldn't pick my own college so that really made me mad. I would've told you but I had a lot of things on mine. I'm sorry" I said

She looked at me.

"I'm sorry for snapping I know its been hard on you."she said looking disappointed

" yea"

"But on a lighter note at least we are together again."

"Yea I'm really happy about that"

"Did your mom really pick out the a college for you?" She asked

"Yup sadly." I said

"When do you start?"

"In August 19"

"Oh so that's a while from now"

"Yea I'm glad"

She started going in the kitchen then to the living room.

"Woww this is a beautiful condominium you live in. Where's your room?"

"Its upstairs. Here let me show you."

As we started to walk upstairs the door bell rang again. I went to see who it is but before I got to the door my brother came to the door first. It was his friend. After they gave each other a high five they both left. I closed the door after they drove off. After that I went back upstairs to show Rachel my room. She was so surprised to see my room. After she looked through my whole room we decided to stay in here to talk

It was 9:30 and it was time for Rachel to leave. I didn't realize what time it was until her mom called to tell her to come home. My mom and my brother came back home an hour ago. After I said bye to her I went to the kitchen to eat dinner. My mom and brother was sitting there talking.

"Y'all talked for a while" my brother said

"Yea I know." I said back

I got a little bit to eat and went upstairs to wash up and read the bible for a hour and prayed and went to bed.
