Beside You [L.R.H]

Chapter. 14

Luke's POV:

As Alyssa and I headed toward the beach that Ash called and told me that he wanted us to meet him at, I noticed down the road on the side where the beach was there was a bonfire going and a group of people. And that obviously was Ashton, Calum, Hailey, Michael and some girl I couldn't quite tell who. I drove my car around the corner and into the beach parking lot. After parking, I got out and headed towards Ash and everyone else and Alyssa did the same. "Hey! You've both finally made it" the unknown girl with long, straight dirty blonde hair said.  Alyssa smiled then rushed over to her and hugged her, so I assumed she knew the girl. She smiled and laughed, and said
"Rachael oh my gosh it's been forever since I've seen you last!"

Rachael that's the girl's name. I was really curious why she was here. But it must've been Hailey that brought her. Or because Ashton, Calum or Michael was dating her. I wasn't quite sure so I kept quite until someone or Rachael herself will mention it.

"So what made you think of the idea to come here at this beach and have a bonfire Ash"

"Well Luke I thought it would be a little nice end of the weekend treat before we go back to school for a couple days then go onto summer vacation." Ash said with a wide grin on his face. Everyone smiled including myself because we were all thankful for him for doing this little get together. And possibly doing it a lot over summer break.
After it got a little more darker now outside probably pitch black we just sat around the illuminating campfire that was the only light source left on the beach; other than some crappy lamp posts that looked like they had burnt out just recently. I look over to my left and there is Hailey and Michael on one side of the fire. Alyssa with me on my left as well and Calum on my right. Then Ashton and Rachael on my right and that's when I figured out that were a couple.

It was a little obvious since I just happened to see Rachael had her head pressed against his shoulder. And Ashton had his head laying next to hers and kissing her gently on the forehead and had his arm around her. Then I looked back to the fire and just looked at the perfect and precise flames. Just hearing the crackle between each of them flowing towards the sky it was a peaceful noise and that it was a perfect moment to live in.

Author's Note: Rachael if your reading this I'm sorry if I gave you the feels, hehe I did that to Hailey in like the early chapters and she like freaked out lol bc I gave her the feels 😈😏😂. Hope this chapter was a good one tbh I'd love to be on a beach rn with the boys and my friends and just live the perfect LA life. I'm in the mood for another chapter or two so stay tuned and I'll see you lovelies soon....bye xx
