I am now realizing that I spend way too much time unconscious in this new life of mine. I simply wait for time to pass and I am beginning to think I may die that way.

I stand, scratching my head before I head toward the door, bare feet leaving very little sound in the hallway. I was about to head down the stairs before I heard a voice. It sounded like the olive blooded girl.

"You can't let him do that!" She said. Then there was some muffled speaking from the violetblood and then more from her.

"Something awful is going to happen to her! If you want kankri to like it here, you can't let it happen."

I creased my brows before stepping back into the room. I guess I'll just wait until I'm called. I don't think the idea of twiddling my thumbs for an hour has ever sounded more appealing.
