I wrote this after watching (500) Days of Summer.

every after a movie,

i feel lost and empty for an instant

like the lives in the movie

the characters in the movie

are leaving me

after going through a journey together

for the whole two hours and fifty minutes

i begin to feel a strong connection 

between the movie and me

as soon as i plug in my headphones

as the cast list move on

i sit there 

weeping

over the ending

but not moving on

maybe that is another way of depicting myself

i take a long time to move on with my life

after being abandoned by someone

who i had a strong connection with
