the tears on your face came softly like summer rain
your breath leaving you like autumn leaves
falling
and I remember the way you told me
we were beautiful despite our faults
but what's the use
I'm screaming at a stone that bears your name, placing flowers upon your leafy bed
the sun no longer holds warmth
all I can feel
is the bitter cold winds
from the absence of you
so now I understand that even the powers of the earth are missing you
dear my lover
I miss you
sincerely yours
