Belles POV

The black was surrounding me, swirling all around me when I moved, like smoke.
I looked up, only darkness, I looked down, darkness. But, this feels, almost...familiar...?
"Hello?"
I tried to speak but the smoke whirled into the back of my throat, choking me.
Coughing and spluttering I clutch my throat in the darkness.
I can't breathe!
I can't-
"Belle!"
My eyes snapped open in an instant.
They met two, concerned brown ones.
My heart beat started to slow down, it was Rumple.
"It's okay sweetheart, you are awake now, nothing can hurt you," he soothed, smoothing my hair behind my ear.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
It was just a dream.
I quickly opened them again, in fear of the terrible black darkness returning.
"Bad dream my love?" He said soothingly.
I nodded, taking deep breaths.
"Well, you're awake now, would you like to tell me about it?" He asked, his eyes still full of concern, a little better as I'd calmed down.
I sighed again, trying to find the right words.
"It was...just, just black..." Was all I could say.
"Black?" He asked.
"Like...like smoke? But...black... I don't now it was weird - let's not talk about it," I shook my head, almost trying to shake the dream and odd feeling out of me.
"As you wish - but, if you need to tell me, you know you always can," his words filled me with warmth.
I smiled and stared at him dreamily.
"I'm fine, it was just dream," I reassured him.
He nodded, dropping it.
"Breakfast?" He winked.
"Yes I'm starving!"
And with a click of his fingers, he gave a wink and disappeared.
"Rumple?" I sat up, looking all around the room.
"Rumple?" I asked again, into the empty room.
"Breakfast is served Madame," a smooth voice came from beside me, making me jump a little.
I looked to my side and there was Rumple, a large tray in his hand, a napkin draped over his arm like a waiter.
"Ooh..." I blushed.
With a flick of his wrist a pillow was placed behind my back and I was sat up, leaning back rather comfortably.
"Rumple," I giggled, "you don't have to do all th-"
"Uh uh uh! Mademoiselle, sit back, relax! And for you breakfast, as the French say, petit-déjeuner crêpes pour une belle dame," he said in a perfect French accent.
I giggled again, blushing even more as he placed the tray on my lap.
He took off the lid dramatically and the smell of honey and berries filled my nose.
"Mhhh...pancakes..." I breathed.
"Please, start," he smiled, pleased that I was pleased.
"Aren't you having any?" I asked.
"It would give me much more pleasure watching you eat yours," he smiled politely.
"Rumple you still need to eat," I sighed, rolling my eyes, getting his arm and pulling him down beside me - the tray almost spilling over.
"Whoops!" We both laughed as he managed to get it balanced.
"Sorry..." I laughed.
He shook his head, chuckling.
"Now," I said, getting my knife and splitting one of my many pancakes in two, "eat."
Raising my fork to his lips, I never broke eye contact once as he opened and slid the pancake off with his lips.
His lips.
Pushing my tray to the side, I lean forward and take him by surprise, my lips crashing into his.
He moved back a little, in shock, but instantly started to kiss back.
After a few seconds I lean back slightly.
"Well..." He chuckled, shaking his head at me.
"I was just so jealous of that pancake you see..." I raised my eyebrows and shrugged my shoulders daintily.
"Jealousy? Oh is that right?" He raised his eyebrows, playing along.
I nodded, sighing dramatically.
"I am terribly sorry I have made you feel this way, I feel I must make it up to you somehow," he raised his chin and narrowed his eyes, smirking.
"Oh really? And how would you do that?" I asked quite innocently, batting my eyelids.
"Belle Gold you are such a tease, please put me out of my misery," he said, surging forward, the tray smashing to the floor - us only just hearing it as we we were solely focused on each other.

Rumples POV

We lazed in bed all morning.
It was glorious.
Sometimes we spoke, spoke about many things, but others, we did not.
We just led there, entangled in each other's arms, not talking, just simply being.
You know you are fully comfortable with someone when you can be silent but still have the most incredible sensation running through you - all I need to do is look into her eyes to get that.
She hasn't questioned why we are again, I'm hoping she won't for a while, but I am sure that time is coming around soon...
I'll have to tell her the truth.

After lunch Belle decided we needed to get some air and suggested a walk.
I could have just stayed in bed all day, but if it makes her happy, I'll do more than oblige.
I was waiting for her in the large dining room, slowly spinning my wheel when I heard her voice.
"Something you want to forget?" Her soft, calm voice sang.
I looked up, there she was, stood wearing a beautiful deep red cloak, what looked like a dark purple dress showing just below the hem of the cloak, her hair in her natural lose curls, with some pinned up both sides at the front.
Beautiful.

"Forget...?" I finally stopped gazing at her.
"When I first came here, you told me you spin, to forget," she smiled, taking a step toward me.
"Oh, no nothing, just haven't seen this old thing in a while," I sighed, the truth.
I never had this in Storybrooke, here whenever I was stressed or indeed wanting to forget, I would spin. I did not have the luxury in Storybrooke so I let my temper and bad form run away with me on many occasions.
I'm glad to see it back.
"Indeed I did," I nodded, smiling, my heart filling with warmth that she remembers what I said all that time ago.
She was finally in front of me and she took both my hands in hers, tipping her head in a smile.
This smile of hers always makes me feel so relaxed, so calm, like everything is under control.
"Ready," she said so softly it was almost a whisper.
"Always," I said, raising my arm for her to take.
She did so, cuddling herself into me, her head on my shoulder as we walked out of the large oak doors and out into the crisp afternoon sun.
