Rumples POV

The two faces I saw crashing through the doors would usually be met with a grimace but my whole body shook with relief.

The Charmings.

"...help..." I could just about stutter, my eyes locking back on to Belles face which was getting paler and paler by the second.

They flew in and barricaded the door once more.

"oh my..." Snow's voice stopped seeing Belle in my arms.

I heard both of their feet coming to a halt in shock.

"Stiltskin did you-"

"Never!" I screamed, a hiss slithering out of me.

"Okay, okay, I know I just..." Charming took a big gulp and started heading towards us.

I was seething.

Does he think I would be truly capable of doing this to Belle? Maybe someone else indeed, but Belle?

Snow's hands were suddenly on mine, adding to the pressure pressing against her wound. Her usually rosy cheeks were just as pale as Belles I noticed.

Charmings fingers were at Belles throat checking for a pulse.

He locked eyes with me.

"She's still breathing."

My heart surged.

Belle was hanging on, come on sweetheart just hold on a little bit longer. Come back to me.

"Where's Regina? Can she, she, a spell?"

My sentences are coming out all jumbled. My brain racing faster than my mouth could catch up with.

Snow and Charming gave each other a serious look.

I looked between their stern faces, begging them with my eyes to explain.

Charming cleared his throat.

"Whilst you were doing... god knows what... we were trying to find a way to get home..." he said nervously.

I nodded ferociously.

"Well, we found one...actually Regina found one..."

"What does that have anything to do with now? Belle needs help here!" I roared.

"Hey, calm down, shouting isn't going to help Belle right now okay?" Snow tried to sooth me, I took a deep breath knowing that annoyingly she was right. Belle is my only priority right now, arguing with the Charmings is not.

"See, Belle would have a much better chance if we got her to a hospital in Storybrooke than anything here..." Charming trailed off.

"So give it to me! What is it? Where is it? How do we get her back?" I looked back down at her, brushing her hair from her face leaving more blood streaks down it cursing myself.

"That's where it gets complicated... you see Regina found a potion, we think the sister potion to whatever you concocted to get here in the first place... she thinks it will conjure a door that leads to Storybroo- to home..." Snow sighed.

"And?!"

Come on spit it out, whats the price. There is always a price.

"It will only allow two people to go back, after that it shuts forever." Charming said clearly.

"And Regina doesn't know we took it."

I looked at them both. They stole it from Regina? I can't believe what I'm hearing. The Charmings stole from Regina? Incredible.

"And you two were going to use it?" I asked, their embarrassed blushed faces telling me the answer.

"Everything we love is back in Storybrooke. There is nothing here for us now. Emma and Henry aren't adjusting to life here as much as they are trying. They are what matters so, we've been trying to find a way for us all to get home, we don't belong in the enchanted forest anymore. When we arrived we thought all our dreams had come true, we'd come home. But this isn't home anymore. Storybrooke is. This is the closest thing we've been able to find... the plan was for Emma and Regina to go back and figure out a way to bring us all back." Snow explained.

"But as soon as we saw the mob headed this way, we just knew there was trouble and now... you need it more than us... and although we aren't where we want to be, at least we are together..." Charming finished, looking at Belle with fear in his eyes.

"Thank you..." I stuttered, almost unbelieving.

"Look Stiltksin, please, if we let you use this now, find a way for us to get back to Storybrooke, all of us," he had his hand in his pocket. I stared at it, knowing that inside was a potion that would get us back to a land with doctors and medicine that could save Belles life.

"I have only my word to give, if you will accept that..." I looked Snow dead in the eyes, to make her understand I meant what I said.

Her eyes softened.

She nodded at Charming and before taking a deep breath, he pulled a small vile out of his pocket.

Standing up he screwed off the lid and started to pour it on the floor.

Before I knew it, towering above me was a large wooden door. I nearly laughed hysterically reading the "Home is where the heart is" sign hanging in the middle.

With tears in her eyes Snow helped me get to my feet with Belle in my arms.

I keep having to tell myself, she's just sleeping, she's just sleeping to stop myself from unravelling completely.

"Good luck," Snow said, cuddling up to Charming, tears streaming down her face knowing she was doing the right thing but also giving up her only known chance of reuniting with her family with their home.

"Thank you," I breathed again, turning back breathless.

"Bring us home."

Charming nodded solemnly, his protective arms around a shaking Snow.

I can see on his face all he wants to do is push me out of the way, grab his wife and run through the door.

But the prince in him will always shine through. The hero in him. Something I will never know the feeling of, or even get close to.

I placed my hand on the door knob and twisted it open.

Wind flew into my face and I wobbled with Belle in my arms, the bright light of the portal within making me squint.

It was only when i was stepping through the threshold that i had the sudden realisation.

Belle was no longer alive in Storybrooke.

In that realm. In that world.

She was already gone.

So it's been a while! I'm not sure if anyone will still read this as it's been so long and OUAT is no longer running... i hope so though! Please let me know what you think! Will Belle survive this?
