Kinabukasan nag enjoy lang sila sa resort at nag bonding. Late afternoon na nang ihatid nila Albert sila Boots sa bahay nito and then they catch up on their flight home na din.
sa bahay ni Agot later...
Albert: (nakaupo sa sofa)
Agot: (tabi kay Albert)
Albert: pagod ka?
Agot: (iling)
Albert: baby?
Agot: (tiningnan Albert)
Albert: why don't we marry again?
Agot: (just look at Albert)
Albert: it's the right thing to do. Mas magiging confident si Margot sa atin pag alam niyang mag asawa tayo.
Agot: hindi rason yun para magpakasal. Hindi dahil sa anak natin kaya tayo magpakasal.
Albert: pero--
Agot: you promised me to take one day at a time na hindi mo ako mamadaliin. I don't know if I'm ready to marry again even if sayo pa yun. I'm sorry.
Albert: (silent only)
Agot: can't we continue just the way we are?
Albert: sure. No problem. (Stand up) i have to go. I have an early meeting tomorrow.
Agot: (stand up also)
Albert: (get his things then parang hila Agot towards the door) I'll have a very busy week but i will keep in touch.
Agot: (just nod)
Albert: take care of yourself.
Agot: (just nod)
Albert: (kiss Agot sa lips)
Agot: (just let Albert kiss her)
Albert: have to go. Bye baby.
Agot: bye.
Umuwi na din si Albert and Agot feel guilty na di siya pumayag magpakasal but she's just trying to convince herself na hindi pa siya ready to leap to the next level of their relationship and takot siya masaktan ulit pag nangyari ang nangyari sa kanila before.
Si Albert naman feel disppointed na ayaw magpakasal ni Agot sa kanya but inintindi lang niya eto. He just gave it time na masanay ulit ito sa pagiging couple nila. Naging busy siya that week in various meetings and civic activities kaya hindi siya masyado nakakapag communicate kay Agot but he made it a point to text her but napi feel niyang umiiwas ito sa kanya.
A week later...
Agot: (nakahiga sa hospital bed with a cast sa paa and a bandage sa ulo)
Nurse: (checking on Agot)
Agot: (silent lang then nag ring ang phone niya)
Nurse: (abot ang phone ni Agot then give it to her) baka gusto mo sagutin. Ring ng ring yan.
Agot: (get the phone then tiningnan sino tumawag but natigil na ang ring kaya she check messages nalang and missed calls and mostly galing kay Albert kaya she decided to return the call. After one ring sumagot agad ito)
Albert: Agot! Where are you? Dalawang araw na kitang kinokontak at hindi ka man lang sumasagot. Pinuntahan kita sa bahay mo pero wala ka naman dun. Where are you?
Agot: nasa hospital--
Albert: what? Why didn't you tell me you're ill. Are you okay?
Agot: i'm okay now.
