The twins fight back {7th year}
The common room was empty. The only people in there were the twins moving hurriedly in the corner. Anertha found them filling their pockets with fireworks. 'This.' Fred smiled, holding out a larger looking firework. 'Will scare that ugly expression off her face.' He smirked. 'Are you sure about this?' Anertha questioned. The twins glanced at her. 'Er...yeah.' George commented. 'Here take this.' Fred handed her a small firework. She placed it in her pocket. The boys straightened up. 'Fireworks.' George began a checklist. 'Check.' Fred followed. 'Brooms.' 'Check.' 'Trunks in position by the forest.' 'Er....check.' 'Lets do this!' George said excited. The twins swept up their brooms and began leaving the common room. 'Come on An.' Fred held out his hand. Anertha took hold of it as she went with them.
They stood in position at the top of the stairs. Fred and George let off a few minor sparks to get the old toad's attention. George had an extendable ear in position, listening for a sign. 'An let off another one.' Anertha threw another firework into the air, watching it explode. George jumped up, stuffing the ear into his pocket. 'She coming, positions.' The twins mounted their brooms. Anertha retrieved the small firework from her pocket and held her hand out ready as she listened for Umbridge. She heard the door handles begin to creak on the great hall door. She stood tall as she opened her hand, letting the firework free. This one flittered around Umbridge's face when she finally open the door and flew past her into the hall. She watched as Umbridge emerged, scowling from the hall. Anertha was stood at the top of stairs in plain view as Umbridge began to look her way. 'Get her boys.' She said as the twins flew past her towards the hall. She laughed as they sped past Umbridge. It was down to them now. She heard cheers and fireworks as she past the hall into the courtyard. She would wait here for the twins to emerge. She folded her arms as she spotted Umbridge staggering out the doors, pale and shaken. 'Boom.' Anertha sniggered as the decrees fell in one large crash from the wall around the professor.
She cheered with the other students as Fred and George finished their spectacle. She looked on in pride as they flew away. 'That's my boys.' She smiled. She snuck away from the crowd, careful not to be spotted. She met Fred and George by the forest where their trunks were waiting for them. Anertha had put them there earlier. The twins got there first, they turned to her laughing. Fred picked her up and swung her round. 'Did you see her face?' He laughed. 'Right, now you're here we better get going before we get caught.' 'Umm Fred?' George looked around confused. 'There's only two trunks.' Fred did a double take and then looked at his girlfriend frowning. 'You're not coming are you?' Anertha shook her head. 'No.' Fred's face dropped. 'You can't stay behind. She'll punish you. I can't let you take the fall for us. You were supposed to come with.' He held on tightly to her hands. 'I can't leave Ginny here alone with her.' Anertha answered. The twins smiled at her slightly. 'You'd put yourself through Umbridge's rath to protect our little sister?' George questioned smiling. 'Are you sure you're not a Weasley?' He smirked, mounting his broom. 'Fred we really gotta go. Anertha is a big girl. Come on.' He kicked off from the ground, hovering. Fred placed his hands on Anertha's face and kissed her gently. 'I love you. I'll see you soon.' He kissed her again before kicking off on his own broom. 'I love you too.' She held back tears. 'Later Annie.' George waved, flying off, his brother lingering behind him before finally flying off and out of view. She was alone. 'MISS DIGGORY!' Came an angry voice. Anertha turned to see Umbridge and Filch marching towards her. 'Oh God...' She wasn't going to like this...
