Hair can be pretty difficult, especially trying to draw where the hair line is, then drawing the hair flowing down.

Hair line is key or a small spot that hair flows down from (usually boys have this).

Starting off with short hair, either it ends off at the neck or the shoulders (that's up to you). It's quite easy with short hair since drawing the strands isn't so long.

For long hair though is tricky since drawing the strands can lead to making it look tangled. Straight hair is generally easy (if you have troubles just look or even copy from my example ^u^) for curly or wavy is the tricky part. If you have issues, you can google or copy from my example :D

So, for wavy/curly, I usually draw simple strands and then continue on from it so it looks full and lushious.

For hats, it should fold behind the ear or if you'd like, draw the hat over the ear (I'd draw the ear and head first then draw the hat but whichever way is up to you lol)
