Oz originally started in the show as a member of the band Dingoes Ate My Baby, a group that regularly performed at the Bronze. He first noticed Willow, wearing an Eskimo suit, and continued to wonder to himself, "Who is that girl?" He became more frequent appearing in the episodes when he found out about the vampires and when it was discovered that he was a werewolf. He soon started dating Willow after this. He broke up with Willow when he caught her kissing Xander, but he soon got back together with her. They broke up again when Oz's wolf side came out and he slept with Veruca, another werewolf. After killing her, he left Sunnydale, but came back for a few days, saying he had calmed down. However, he saw that Willow and Tara were in love, and he left again.
