"It's Peeta" Haymich says
"Get him here!" Mom says cleaning the table off and they lay him down
"Haymich get some snow, I'll grind the herbs" Prim instructs, mom pours liquid on him and he cries in pain
"What's that that's hurting him" I panic
"He needs morphine" she states Prim looks at my cut
"Interfered with a peace keeper, not interlay peaceful" he explains
"Doesn't need stitches" she states, mom tries to do the needle but her hands are shaking too much
"Mom, mom, I'll do it" Prim says taking the bottle of morphine into the needle
"Hold him down please" she mumbles and injects the needle and he groans in pain
"Shhhh, shhhh" I coo stroking his blonde curls.
After He's Been Worked On
I sadly smile, lean and kiss his soft lips and his eyes open and he smiles
"Hey Katniss" he whispers and I smile stroking his curls
"Hey" I reply
"You haven't left?" He asks and I nod
"I'm not leaving you again" I whisper and he smiles
"I'm gonna stick around and annoy you for a long time" I say
"I love you" he says
"Love you too" I smile kissing him, I do, I love my boy with bread, my dandelion in the spring, I love Peeta Mellark.
