First Day Of School.
Now that you've survived orientation its time for the first day of school. Make sure you have the essential to be prepared such as, your schedule, school supplies; although you don't need much in high school to be honest, and a positive attitude.
TIPS:
- Get friendly with upperclassmen.
If you manage to snag a upperclassmen as a friend, find out:
How to act around teachers?
certain people to avoid?
information on clubs and sports your interested in (If any)?
- Be aware of schools dress code. It's not worth arguing about what you want to wear with the adults at the school because at the end of the day the adults win and you lose.
- Don't hesitate to ask for help. The first week is always tough, but don't be too shy and ask for help when you need it. There are plenty of students and staff that will be glad to help you if you need any.
