I sit in the living room nervous waiting for Mr.[Y/L/N] to come home so I can speak to him and his wife.

"Hi Jack" Mr. and Mrs.[Y/L/N] say

"Hi" I smile nervously

"You like to ask us a question" Mrs.[Y/L/N] says

"Yea" I say" I love your daughter so I was wonder if I have could your blessing and permission to marry your daughter"

"Jack" Mr.[Y/L/N]"you have our blessing"
