It's not a common thing, really. Only one out of every 7,560 people get it, and 99% of them grow out of it. Harry Styles is that one percent who has it severely and never grew out of it.
It's the disease that ruins his life.
Palalia is a nervous tic, one that makes Harry repeat everything he says twice, sometimes three times. It isn't something he can control either.
It's something he's had to deal with since he was a child, so he's used to it. But other people aren't.
He can't even go out to a restaurant because the waiter looks at him funny when he repeats his order without being able to control it.

Harry avoids questions that are longer though. Repeating full sentences is not something he enjoys to do.

It's a disease, a disorder, an illness. Whatever you like to call it.
