Summer break was coming to a halt and sierra had been in the hospital for two weeks now, her neck was healing, and so were her legs but the bruises were still very visible. The only bad part was she was still in this damn coma. Mom was still making the dumbest mistake of her life by giving my dad a third chance, well all that's on hold till sierras better.
Ethan had said to meet him at the juice shop at noon. I was on my way there after making a stop at the hospital to check up on sierra. I walk into the building and scan the area for Ethan. I can see his broad shoulders from behind. He is laughing loudly with Jo and Dustin. I didn't know this was a bring your buddy date, I would've brought Mia my best friend forever along with me. Dustin sights me and gets up to signal where they are. I guess you date the captain of the basketball team, you date his teammates too. I walk over to their table and sit beside Ethan, he notices me and turns around to give me a full hug. We were talking about random things and joking around when a boy in a green workers outfit walked over to us with a dock and pen. The boys were snickering at him and making fun of him as he walked over to us I could tell from their tone that he was one of their bullying victims. When he reached the table I looked up at him and saw those eyes...those same eyes from the night of the accident I looked outside the window and saw the hall, immediately, I had a flashback, I saw sierra running and heard screaming
"Umm, Ethan dear I have to go. I'll talk to youater okay" and I got up and ran out of the shop.
