Angela's P.O.V•

I was walking home from the mall with a few bags in my hands when I was hugged from behind.

"Hey, Angy!"

I smiled and turned to see Sonic. He kissed my lips and took my bags from my hands. "Hi, Sonic. What's up?"I asked. He put an arm around my shoulders and walked with me, holding my bags in the other hand.

"Oh, I was just taking a run when I saw you. I was going to call you later but I wanted to see you,"he smiled. I smiled.

"Hey, did Rouge tell you about the house she has on the beachfront?"I asked. "Yeah. If I remember correctly, she's inviting everyone to stay there for a week,"Sonic said.

"Yup. Are you going?"I asked. "Well, I don't know,"he said. "Aw. Why?"I asked.

"Well, maybe because the house is on the beach and the beach has the sea. I'm terrified of water. See where I'm coming from?"

I giggled. "I know but it'll be so much fun! I'll protect you from the water,"I smiled. Sonic gave me a crazy look. "I should be the one saying that,"he said. "But I'm not the one that's afraid of water,"I smirked.

We walked up to my house. I unlocked the door and we walked inside.

"Please come with us! Everyone is going except for you! I'll be lonely!"I said as I hugged Sonic, snuggling my face into his neck. "No you won't. You'll have everyone to hang with,"he said as he ruffled my hair.

I pulled away and sighed, pouting slightly. "Fine. I heard Scourge was coming. And that he just broke up with Fiona. I guess I'll just hang with him,"I said.

"Heck no. I changed my mind. I'm coming along,"Sonic said. I gasped and cheered, throwing my arms in the air.

A few days later~

Rouge had rented a huge van to take the trip in. Shadow, Silver, Blaze, Amy, Cream, Tails, Knuckles, Vector, Espio, Charmie, Manic, Sonia, Sonic, and I had climbed in after putting our bags in the back.

Shadow was driving while Rouge rode shot-gun. Five people could sit in one row so there were three rows of seats. Sonic, Manic, Sonia, Tails, and I sat in the very back.

"Hey, where's Scourge?"Sonic asked. "Oh, he's not coming. I lied. I just wanted you to come along,"I smiled innocently up at him. Sonic's face paled. "She got you good, bro,"Manic chuckled.

Manic and I fist bumped. I hugged Sonic's arm. "Don't be mad, Sonic,"I said. He ruffled my hair. "I'm not mad but I will be planning my revenge,"Sonic grinned.

"He's going to get you good, Angy,"Manic said.

"Dude, who's side are you on?"Sonia asked. "Nobody's. I just like to instigate and see what happens,"Manic smiled.

Shadow started the engine and we were off. It was a very loud ride on the highway and interstate.

Music played on the radio. Vector, Silver, Charmie, and Manic were the only ones that actually knew the song so they all sung to the top of their lungs. Shadow yelled at them, making them shut up. Then Sonic and Shadow got into an argument about who knows what. But it was actually pretty funny.

I still don't understand how they started fighting. Shadow was sitting way in the front and Sonic was in the back with me. But then, Amy and I started arguing. She wouldn't stop flirting with Sonic. So I threatened to slap her with my flip flop.
