Y/n's POV:

I heard a bell go off, so I guessed this was their lunch time. Headmaster Zurmicano got up from his seat.

"Would you like to head to the cafeteria and eat some lunch? You can return here and we can start the tour."

"Ok." I replied. Lunch sounded good, since I didn't even eat breakfast cause dad was in a hurry to get to work.

The Headmaster got on an inercome that seemed to project all over the school.

"Furedi Curtido wa kōchō no ofisu ni kite kudasaidarou. Furedi Curtido wa kōchō no ofisu ni kite kudasaidarou. (Would Freddy Curtido please come to the headmaster's office. would Freddy Curtido please come to the headmaster's office)" He shut off the inercome and looked at me.

"Freddy is a great student here, and is very fluent in English. I believe you two will make good friends."

The door behind me opened. I turned to look at Freddy. It was a girl, actually. She had black hair in a braid down her back, dark blue eyes, black hipster glasses and the school uniform.

"Hai, kōchō. (Yes headmaster)" she said in a sweet voice.

"Kore wa, Y/N L/N, Amerika kara no watashitachi no atarashī gakuseidesu. Anata wa, shokudō ni kanojo o shite kudasai hyōji suru koto ga dekimasu. (this is y/n l/n, our new student from America. Can you show her to the cafeteria)"

Freddy did a bow. "Hai, kōchō." She repeated.

I walked over to her and we both walked out the headmaster's office.

"Wow, you're really from America?!" Freddy asked with excitement in English.

I smiled. "Yes, I came from the state of h/s (home state). It's a nice place, really. I really like your name."

"Thanks! My parents wanted to be different, so they gave me an American name. It's supposed to have the Japanese spelling, but I still spell it the English way."

"That's cool."

"I hope you don't mind me asking why you moved?" Freddy asked me.

"Parents got divorced." I replied, not effected by what I said at all.

Freddy the put a sad look on her face. "I'm sorry y/n-chan, I hope I didn't hurt you."

"Don't worry, you didn't. What does it mean when you put -chan at the end of my name?"

"Oh, it's like a title added to the end of a name. A lot of people here use them. For girls, it's usually -chan added to their name. But for boys, it's -kun. I find it very interesting."

"Yeah, that's cool. We don't do that in America."

"Cool." Freddy's smiling face had returned earlier and now she looked hungry. We turned a corner. "Here we are!" She said, jesturing to the cafeteria.

It's was pretty big, big enough to hold all the students. Freddy lead me down the steps we were on through the cafeteria. Some people tried to talk to Freddy, but she didn't respond.

We got to the lunch line and Freddy looked at me. "Do you know any Japanese?" She asked. "The cooks only know Japanese, except one, but I don't think he's here today."

"I know a quite a bit, but I'm having trouble remembering it."

"That's ok, I'll translate for you!" She smiled, tilting her head to the right a little. I giggled.

We went through and I got some sushi rolls with the same ingredients as the ones I had last night. Freddy got some other things I didn't know and we left the line. We looked around. It was pretty packed.

Freddy looked at me. "Do you have any friends here you can sit with?" She asked me.

I looked around. I then saw Ori-kun looking at me. I waved and he waved back. Ori-kun then started to call me over. I looked at Freddy and she was a little shocked.

"Why are you shocked?" I asked her.

"It's just, Ori-kun usually sits with his super close friends." She then looked up at me, since I was taller than her. "You must be special. You even know him?"

"We ran into each other in the hallways when I first came here."

"Ok, I'm gonna go sit with my friends now, let me know if you need anything." We waved bye to each other and Freddy went and sat with a group of girls.

I headed over to Ori-kun who was sitting with two other boys. I sat in front of him and hello.

"Do you like the school?" He asked me.

"Well, I'm getting the tour after lunch." I said.

A boy sitting at the table looked at me. He had orange hair and icy blue eyes. He leaned over to Ori.

"Kanojo wa daredesuka? (Who is she)" the boy asked.

"Chōdo daijōbu, ima no eigo o hanashimasu ka? (Just speak English for now, alright)" Ori responded.

"Dōshite? (Why)" the other boy asked. He had blonde hair spiked in a small Mohawk, blue eyes and black hipster glasses.

"Kanojo wa atarashī dashi, watashi wa kanojo ga nihongo o hanasu koto ga dekiru to wa omoimasen. (She's new, and I don't think she can speak Japanese)" Ori responded.

"Watashi wa Nihon no buji o hanasu koto ga dekimasu, (I can speak Japanese alright)" I started. "Watashi wa nihongo o benkyō suru made, eigo wa watashi no tame ni yōidesu. (English is easier for me until I can speak Japanese)"

Everyone seemed a little suprised, but then when to normal. To be honest, saying all that was a gigantic struggle on my brain, trying to remember all that super quick.

"Well, guys, this is y/n-chan. N/n, this is Grell Tsusede," Ori gestured to the boy with the orange hair, "and this is Gudo Deminisha," He then gestured to the boy in glasses.

"Hello," Grell said.

"Greetings," Gudo added.

I smiled. "Hello."

"So," Grell said, as if trying to get down to some business. "Where are you from?"

"America."

"Where in America?"

I laughed. "H/s."

"I've heard of that place," Gudo said. "I've heard it's very pretty with its l.f (landform) and its a.l (animal). Are they nice?"

"Yeah, I've seen some wild a.ls roaming around once, and the l.fs is really pretty."

"Cool." Gudo said.

I started eating my sushi when I caught a glimpse of Ori. He was giving a death stare to Grell. Was he...jealous cause I laughed at what Grell said? I continued to eat as if I saw nothing.

We had some more small talk, then a bell rang. I brought my tray that had held my food on it to a small platform with other trays on it. I had to go and find Freddy, since I was a little confused on how to get back to the main office, so she helped me.

-----

Ori's POV:

I was a little mad once y/n walked around the corner with Freddy-chan. I knew her, but didn't really talk to her a lot.

Grell had made y/n-chan laugh...I was getting worked up.

She's mine! I thought at the time. Step off man!

I tried to ignore a burning feeling in my chest. Grell was my best friend, along with Gudo.

But the feeling kept crawling back everytime I even looked at Grell, or even heard his voice. I couldn't tell hat that feeling was. Love? Hate? Envy?

No, it was...

Revenge.

I wanted revenge on Grell for making y/n-senpai laugh.

She's mine, you hear Grell?

Y/n-senpai is mine...
