I stare at the screen, as it turned green and wasted appeared.
It took a moment to register.
I threw down the controller in my hands and kicked the old boxy tv.
I winch, shouldn't have done that.
"STUPID FUCKING TWELVIE FOR KILLING ME I SWEAR TO PRIMUS I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN!"
The bloody kid on the other end of my headset just laughed as I narrowed my eyes at the screen, picking up my controller and frantically clicking buttons to make me respawn faster.
I sit back down on the seat and glare at the computer, "I swear kid, if you kill me one more time -"
I didn't get to finish my sentence as locking sounds sounded, I jumped out of the car I stole, just as it exploded. "Ha! Missed!"
"Wrong." The Twelvie's voice spoke as his character ran out from behind me and stabbed me in the back.
This time I threw the controller at the tv. "YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT!!!" I scream as I throw down the controller again and stomp on it, smashing it as my headset is pulled off, I walk to the Xbox and push the off button.
"Rage quit much?" Phebe spoke from beside me, looking up from the book she was reading and looking at the floor, and smashed controller.
"Come on Emma! That is the third one this week!"
I barely paid acknowledgement as I exit her room, "thanks for letting me use your Xbox and tv, but I need to get going."
"Yeah, you're still paying for a new controller right?!"
"Maybe." I mumble before reaching the front door and grabbing my bag before opening the door and leaving.
I walk down the street, the sun shinning too brightly for my liking as I sigh, pulling up my jumper sleeves.
The street was quiet, with a light breeze rustling the branches of trees. There isn't as many cars as normal, but it is a weekday and most people would be at school or work.
Thinking about work brought anger through my veins as I glare at nothing in particular, fucking piece of shit for firing me for bloody nothing.
All I did was throw a textbook at my Commanding Officer's head, well it was a dictionary. He said "words don't hurt" so I threw a dictionary at him and went on a rampage, destroying his car in the progress.
Okay, so maybe it was a little bit of a mistake.
It was his fault.
He brought up . . . her.
I close my eyes, sighing. It's been four months, but it feels like yesterday.
I look down to the ground, putting my hands into my shorts pockets, it's the beginning of January now, August was a long time ago.
I walk around a corner, almost bumping into someone.
"Sorry." I mumble. The other person doesn't say anything until I look up and almost gasp.
Her eyes, one was a dull green while the other one was one of the brightest blue I've ever seen, and I've only seen them one place else; the Autobot's holoforms.
She blinked at me, staring at my eyes and switching between them as she kept her arm underneath her clothes, she looked homeless, rugged clothes, tangled and matted dark brown hair with dirt covering her face.
She took a step back, and almost turned away as I jumped forward and grabbed her wrist, "wait, who are you?"
She turned her head slightly, eyeing me cautiously as she pulled her wrist away. "Someone like you."
