Chapter 6

After two weeks dumating na sina Verna from their European tour. Tomas is so happy to see his wife and kids. He cancelled all his appointments para personal na sunduin ang magiina niya sa airport.

Kinagabihan sa masters bedroom. Verna is busy unpacking their stuff and all the pasalubong they bought from their European trip.

Tomas: (hugged Verna from behind). Hon, itigil mo na yan. Bukas mo na tapusin yan. Pagod ka na.

Verna: Malapit na ako matapos dito. Sige na. Ikaw ang magpahinga na.

Tomas: Itigil mo na sabi yan eh! (sabay buhat kay Verna papuntang bathroom)

Verna: (hinampas si Tomas pero kinikilig) Ano ba Tomas! Ibaba mo nga ako.

Sa bathroom..

Tomas started to undress his wife, kissed her on the lips and gently put her on the bath tub. He prepared a bubble bath for Verna.

Verna: (medyo teary eyed sa gesture ni Tomas) Thank you hon. You're so sweet. (kissed Tomas on the lips)

Tomas: Alam ko kasi masyado ka napagod sa biyahe. Go and enjoy your bubble bath. I'll just go downstairs and get some red wine.

Pagkabalik ni Tomas sa bathroom may dala na siyang 2 glasses of red wine. Inabot ang isa kay Verna

Verna: Come here Mr Tuazon! Join me here in the bath tub.

Tomas: (undressed himself and joined Verna on the bath tub).

Verna: I missed you (kissed Tomas on the lips)

Tomas: I missed you terribly

And the two shared passionate kisses, caressed each other, explored each other bodies. In the bath tub they expressed their longing for each other that resulted in an intense and passionate lovemaking.

After one week..

Tomas is lying on the bed habang minamasahe ni Verna

Verna: Hon, I need to tell you something.

Tomas: What is it?

Verna: Nagkita kami ni Philip this morning. We had coffee. And he offered me a proposal?

Tomas: (in an irritated voice) Anong proposal yan?

Verna (massaging Tomas's head) He offered me to be his business partner sa restaurant na itatayo niya. I read the feasibility studies about sa plano niya and I am so impressed.

Tomas: And??

Verna: I said yes to Philip. Pumayag na ako na maging business partner niya. In fact he will send me na lang all the papers that I'm going to sign.

Tomas (inalis ang kamay ni Verna na nasa sintido niya sabay tayo). What??? Pumayag ka na maging business partner ni Philip without informing me first.

Verna: Tomas alam mo naman diba na matagal ko ng pangarap na magkaroon ng restaurant. And then Philip came along. I cant resist his proposal. Its a once in a life time opportunity.

Tomas: (almost shouting) For God's sake I'm your husband. Kelan ka pa natutong mag desisyon without consulting me first.

Verna: (galit na din) Ano bang ikinagagalit mo Tomas? I have my own money. Sarili kong pera ang gagamitin ko sa restaurant na itatayo namin ni Philip. I will not ask any single centavo from you.

Tomas: (nainsulto sa sinabi ni Verna) Wag mo akong insultuhin Verna. Money is not an issue here. You know very well na inis ako diyan sa kaibigan mo and yet makikipag partner ka pa.
