part ten : moving on

It's been three days since Hunter's YouNow. I haven't turned on my phone at all, surprising, but I needed to do it. I decided I needed to connect with people again, so I turned it on.

After a few minutes my phone exploded with notifications. Texts, calls, tweets, instagram likes, comments, followers, from so many people. As I read some of my dm's, a lot of them was about Hunter. All from his fan accounts, asking if he was okay.

After getting some more information, Hunter said he was taking a break from social media for a while. He needed time to think apparently. I didn't really know exactly why, so i just told the girls that he's been stressed.

When I checked my texts, I had over 200. Gosh. A majority of them were from Brandon, a few from Julianna, Sophia, Zach, Ryan, and a few from Hunter. What did he have to stay?

Most of my texts were basically the same. It was weird not talking to anyone for three days, but I think I needed it.

I missed Hunter, his presence could instantly made me happy. I didn't know what to feel though, did I still love him?

Brandon told me he's talking now, but not as much. When he does, he seems really angry or sad. He's apparently been crying too, and it hurts me so bad thinking about it. He doesn't even have his supporters to talk to right now. He must be a mess.

I got ready, for the first time in a while. I did my makeup natural, and slipped on leggings, a big sweater, with a scarf. I wore some short brown boots, and was out the door.

I walked no where else than the Rowland's. I was there so much, it was like my second home. Brandon answered the door, as usual, and gave me a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're okay! Everyone was so worried about you!" I exclaimed, as Hunter walked down the stairs.

"Val, can we go somewhere, and talk?" He said, walking over to Brandon and I.

The two of us went into the living room to just talk about everything thats been going on.

"So..it's agreed we'll just stay friends, and try to move on from eachother?" Hunter asked, seeming upset, but understanding. "Yeah, I hope this works out, but you know you were my first real love, and I'll love you forever." I said, with a small smile. "I'll love you forever too, Val. Before this is over, can I just ask you one thing?" Hunter asked me, with a smile as well. "Of course, what is it?" I asked. "Since whatever between us is over, can I just kiss you one last time?" I smiled, and we both leaned in, as our lips pressed together. The sparks were there, but somehow I'd just get over it. I'm glad Hunter and I are agreeing to move on, he'll always be my best friend, first love, and so much more.
