I opened my eyes and felt sick. I had the waking-sleeping-waking-sleeping pattern because I found it hard to breath with a runny nose. I kept on having the need to release my phlegm. My tonsil is sore.

I realized I was alone in the house. It was almost 10 AM. I looked for food but there's none that would be appropriate for breakfast. I went back to my room, charged my Iphone and procrastinated for a long time. Then I received a text message from the school's mobile phone number, reminding us teachers to remind the prents that on Monday will be the Day 2 of Periodical Exam. So I replied noted and forwarded it to the numbers of the parents/guardians numbers saved on my contacts from my Cherry phone. I was too lazy to check the others on my printed directory so I was only able to text half of my advisory class.

EJ texted afterwards, "Good morning mahal ko! Gising na ko :) Text mo ko pag gising mo.  I love you~". Instead of replying, I called him. I was lazy to text so I called and I told him this. Our conversation went like this:

EJ: "Aalis ka ba?"
Me: "Hindi. Uhm. Depende."
EJ: "Bakit depende?"
Me: "Kung magkikita tayo."
EJ: "Pwede ba tayong magkita?"
Me: "Bakit? Bawal ba?"
EJ: "Ewan ko sayo."
Me: "Bakit ewan mo sakin?"
EJ: "Hindi kita maintindihan. Choppy ka."
Me: "Chubby ako?"
EJ: "Oo."
Me: "So, magkikita nga tayo?"
EJ: "Hmm.. 1 PM."
Me: "Saan?"
EJ: "Sa Megamall na lang. Gusto ko lang tumambay. Kahit 2 PM na lang pala."
Me: "Ok."
EJ: "Gusto mo ngayon na. Ay hindi pala. Lowbat ako. Magchacharge muna ako. 2 PM na nga lang."
Me: "Sige."
EJ: "Kain ka na. Kumain ka na ba? Magluluto muna ko."
Me: "Hindi pa. Sige na. Kain na."
EJ: "See you laters."
Me: "See you~"

Then our telephone rang for the third time. I finally answered it. Just as I expected, it was mom. She was asking if I could replace her for a while so she could go home and use the restroom. I agreed but told her I will be going somewhere later.

When I was at the store, Ate Nene, the owner of the store across us bought a Clover  and asked if I was able to sell all our goods before New Year. I wasn't sure what to answer because the goods weren't mine. I just helped mom selling whatever she have at the store. She said she was glad that theirs was sold out but they had a difficult time. They earned with hard work. They shouted to attract buyers. According to her, someone helped her. She told me his name but I didn't remember because I wasn't really paying attention. I only became interested when she told me that the guy is twelve. And  that he asked how am I related with mom. So Ate Nene told him I'm 'Ka Edith's daughter" and "Teacher yon". To which her son or nephew replied, "Teacher yon? Anliit."  Awts. Pasalamat siya di ko natandaan pangalan niya. -__-

Mom took so long in coming back. I was worried because it's almost 1 PM. I don't want to be really really late in meeting EJ. I was hungry but couldn't find something to satisfy my hunger. I just drank a bottle of Yakult. When she got back, she mentioned her worry about Uncle coming tomorrow. Kuya Fred and his family will be at Ate Chelle's homeside tomorrow because it's her mom's birthday. Ate Wina and family on the other hand will be going to Manaoag Church. It's only mom and I again. So nobody would entertain him. Alangan naman ako? What could we possibly talk about? Papa? Is my uncle willing to tell me stories about Papa? Mom said if I could just text my uncle and tell to move it on Monday.

I hurriedly went home and took a bath. I ate some grapes but I was really feeling dizzy. I had no breakfast. I had no lunch. It's already past 1 PM. I was choosing what to wear when EJ called. He was asking my whereabouts. I told him I was about to go. He said the same because he needed to ran some errands. He reminded me to text him for updates. I wanted to wear my 'My boyfriend is better than you' shirt. But boy, it's really big on me. I had found out that it's brand's name is Bershka. Which is the same brand of the green pants I bought from Baclaran with Claire when we were back from our crazy trip from Tagaytay and I needed to return the clothes I borrowed from her. She lent me those because we were from the Teachers' Night party and we were wearing dresses. That's why we needed to change with regular clothes. I thought the pants could be paired with the shirt but they're totally not matched. So I gave up and wore the usual gray spaghetti strap with the green checkered boyfriend shirt on top.
