Luke.

*One Week Later*

"Luke, you need to feed, or do something besides watch Calum. He'll wake up when it's time to...and when he's ready to," Hayden told me.

"No. I'm not doing anything until he wakes up," I told him.

Hayden sighed.

"Well...it's your choice, not mine, I suppose. Michael ran out and refilled the fridge with bloodbags...if you're hungry."

I simply nodded. Hayden then walked away from the frame of the door, not even bother to close the door.

I sighed, as I continued to watch Calum.

I stood across from mine and Calum's bed, standing against the wall with my arms crossed. I watched him carefully and closely. I wasn't letting him out of my sight.

Meanwhile, Calum slept in the bed across from me. He was sleeping with his face facing the door. He gripped the blanket. I saw that his head was rested comfortably in the pillow. Soft snores left his mouth as his heart beat evenly.

I wasn't leaving until he was awake and safe.

Calum then let out a small, soft gasp. I stepped forward, just in case something happened, but nothing did. Calum relaxed again and started to sleep peacefully.

I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that my boyfriend was the one, the one supernatural weapon, the one that could destroy a supernatural species, the one that truly had the most power out of any of us.

He could kill me if he wanted to.

I just hoped that Calum was still himself when he woke up. After The Ritual, we all knew that his body was going to side and trust who comforted him the most, and who he seemed to trust because him and his body was going to be confused.

I wouldn't be able to live if I had to fight against him.

I pushed myself off of the wall and walked over to Calum's side. I bent down to Calum's level and stroked his cheek with my thumb.

"I know how tired you must be after The Ritual. I know I would be...seeing how much blood you lost and how much power you had to take in," I told him, moving the hair off of his forehead, "so you can rest as long as you want. You can wake up when you want to. I just want you to be well rested, because this isn't ending anytime soon."

Suddenly, Calum's eyes shot open, but they were completely black. I jumped back, seeing the black eyes I wasn't used to yet.

They closed again as I caught my breath. Calum took a deep breath before he started to slowly opening his eyes. They fluttered open. I smiled, seeing the beautiful brown eyes I loved. He tiredly smiled, seeing me bent down next to him.

"Hey Luke."

I smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Hey Cal."

I assumed the rest of the boys heard Calum, because they all started to walk into the room. They stood next to me as Calm rubbed his eyes, yawned, and sleepily smiled.

"Hey Calum. How do you feel?" Hayden asked.

"I feel different. I feel more powerful, stronger. I feel this new energy flowing inside me. I also hear another voice inside my head, a voice that keeps talking to me," Calum explained, "if you know what I mean."
