The next day, Christina sat with everyone at the table. All the way in the hall, she could see that James was walking close to the table. Christina stood up and glanced at him, smiling as well.
"James!" Christina smiled. "Come over here."
As James made his way over there, Abby, Brooke, and Maya all scoffed and looked up at Christina.
"Ugh. Christina, how many times do I have to tell you that we don't want any losers here?" Abby snarled as she flipped her hair. "Geez, why can't you just understand that?"
As James stepped up to the table, Christina picked up her cup of fruit punch and poured it all over Abby's blonde hair. All of the girls looked at her, then looked up at Christina as everyone in the lunchroom gasped.
"Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something. I actually don't like Abby. I hate her!" Christina smiled, announcing it to everyone. "She likes to make fun of all of you, then act like you both are friends. Not to mention that she keeps her mothers condoms in her drawer!"
"You're gonna pay for this!" Brooke barked as she stood up.
"Also everyone, Brooke peed on herself at the sleepover. She's 9 fucking years old and she still needs pampers!" Christina smiled as everyone started laughing. "What do you know?"
Abby stood up out of her seat as wiped her tears, pacing off along with Brooke. She was crying her eyes out. Christina smiled at them as Maya looked at the girls, then started clapping for Christina.
"Wow." Maya said in a shocked tone. "I've never had the guts to stand up to her."
"Also, my best friend is James Henderson!" Christina smiled. "Yeah, he's a fat ass. But guess what? He's MY fat ass!"
As all of the kids started clapping for her, Christina stepped out of her seat and walked out of the lunchroom with James. When they got alone, he gave her a large hug. She hugged him back, then looked back at him.
"And James, I would love to go out with you." Christina smiled. "I just have to ask my mom."
"You mean, you want to be my girlfriend?" James smiled, panting heavily.
"Yes." Christina smiled. "Most definitely."
James kept his smile, then glanced down in a depressed fashion.
"I can't, Christina..." James groaned.
"What? Why?" Christina asked. "I don't care about your weight or looks. I promise!"
"I came to tell you that me and my mom are moving." James said in a low tone. "We're moving where my father is."
Christina froze. She was hurt. Small tears formed in her eyes as her mouth hung open a little, looking at him in a saddened form.
"W-why?" Christina said in a shaky tone.
"The school told my mom that I was bullied." James said in a low tone. "Uh.....yeah. They want me to go away. I kind of want to leave this school as well....."
"But, but I'm your friend James." Christina said in a begging tone. "I'll be your friend and protect you fr-"
"Christina, you can't. My mom already made her decision." James sighed. "But um.......you can come over everyday until I leave. How does that sound?"
"Yeah." Christina smiled. "That sounds nice."
Christina had never been so hurt. That was her only close friend, and he was getting ready to leave her. She had no clue on what to do.
Meanwhile, what Jayla told Dr. August was weighing heavily on his mind. Before everyone went to sleep, he sat in his bed and watched Numra lay in the bed. As her stomach grew bigger, she adjusted on her maternity pillow and turned the opposite way to go to sleep. Dr. August glanced at her, then shook his head.
"You know what, Numra, I'm sick of this shit." Dr. August growled, letting all of his bottles feelings out. "Seriously."
"Excuse me?" Numra said in a tired tone, lifting up in the bed.
"You're gonna fucking leave me and our children here after I helped you out of Iraq and helped Christina get out of school?" Dr. August snapped as he gave her a furious look. "You won't even go out to damn dinner with me! What the hell?"
"I bailed out on one dinner tonight." Numra said as she lifted up and scrunched her eyebrows at him. "What is wrong with you? Why are you yelling at me?"
"Because you treat me like shit and you don't give nowhere near as much effort as I put as much into this damn relationship!" Dr. August barked. "I've done all of this shit and all you do is leave me in the fucking dirt! That's fucking why!"
Dr. August glanced at her and watched her give him an angry look, then shook his head as he looked away while scratching his shoulder.
"Jayla was right about you.." Dr. August mumbled. "You don't love me. At all..."
Almost instantly, Numra lunged out of the bed and smacked Dr. August as hard as she could. She stood in front of him and watched him clench his jaw while looking away.
"Look at me." Numra said in a low and angry tone.
Dr. August was raging. He kept his eyes off of her, glancing angrily off into the corner.
"You better fucking look at me Chresanto!" Numra shouted, causing him to jump. "Look at me!"
Dr. August knew that she was serious because Numra NEVER cursed when she got angry. As he turned to her, he watched tears of rage and anger form in her eyes.
"I don't love you? Are you fucking serious!" Numra barked as she glanced at him in his eyes. "I had another baby out of wedlock and embarrassment that I didn't even want to keep because of my religion and I don't love you?"
Dr. August actually listened to her. He looked her in her eyes, watching the rage and fury glance right through his.
"I chose to stay with you with a possibility that Roberto and my father might order an honor killing on me and my goddamn daughter and I don't love you?!" Numra shouted even louder as tears shot viciously out of her eyes. "I tell you how much I appreciate you everyday and I don't love you? I'm leaving my children with you so that you can be happy and I don't love you? I kept Christina for both me and you when I could've easily stayed with my dad and had an easier life rather than to have a damn daughter at the age of 15 and I don't love you? I made you the sole beneficiary in my will just in case something happens to me when I go off to the army just so that you and Christina can be set and I don't fucking love you?!"
"You........you made me your sole beneficiary?" Dr. August asked in a shocked tone.
Numra grabbed her will off of the table, balled it up, and threw it right in his face. Dr. August quickly looked to the side and caught the paper, giving Numra a scared look.
"I've broke all of my religious views and values that could possibly get me sent to hell in the after life and I don't love you!?" Numra shouted as her voice cracked, crying even harder. "I'm not with my fucking family or my mother because I keep on thinking about staying with you to keep you happy and I don't love you? Are you kidding me?"
Numra snatched her paternity pillow and started to drag it out of the room.
"Numra I didn't mean it like tha-"
"I can't believe you said that." Numra said as she shook her head, still crying. "I'll come back and sleep with you when Jayla stops holding your balls."
Numra slammed the door, leaving Dr. August in a cloud of guilt. He really didn't feel like Numra loved him until she broke it down to him. To be honest, she shouldn't have had to do that in his mind. He was so caught between two women that it was dragging him all of the place. Dr. August covered his face and sat in despair like he always did, still stressed. No matter what Jayla said, he loved Numra no matter what. And listening to her like he always did, got him into some deep shit.
He didn't want to lose Numra. And as of now, it seems like that's what was going to happen.
