Chapter 19

~Beep beep beep beep beep beep~

"What's going? Why is her bp (blood pressure) dropping?" The surgeon asked,

"I don't know. It just started to drop" The other surgeon said.

"Someone get Dr. Park in here. And someone get the goddamn defibrillator." The surgeon shouted, outside everyone was waiting and were confused why more doctors entered.

"What's going on? Did something happen?" Minho and Leeteuk was worried that they can't stop walking back and forth outside of the operating room. Inside, the doctors are still stabilising Krystal's blood pressure. After another hour, the doctors came out.

"Doc, how is she?" Minho asked,

"The transplant went well, as for now we just have to monitor her condition every 4 hours." The doctor said,

"Doc, thank you so much for saving my sister" Leeteuk shook the doctors hand. Krystal was now moved back to her room. Two days have passed and Krystal hasn't woken up yet. Every 4 hours the doctor come and check until their fourth check, the noticed something was wrong. They took another x-ray,

"Doc, is there something wrong?" Minho asked.

"That I can't still say, we still don't know why she hasn't woken up yet so we have to take another one to just make sure that everything is fine." The doctor explained, after taking the x-ray, they examined it over and over again. They got the results back,

"Fron the x-ray that we took the other day. We noticed that there was something on the bottom right of her left lung." They showed the the x-ray results as they talk, "As you can see, there's a black shadow here and here."

"Is that a bad thing or good thing?" Minho asked,

"From this result, we can't predict what that is. So it's better to have a professional doctor examine her." The doctor said, upon hearing this Minho was completely shocked and doesn't know what to say. "We recommend to send her oversea to get more professional doctors opinions as we haven't seen this kind of case before. I'm sorry Mr. Choi." Minho looked troubled that he can't talk or even look at the doctor. He doesn't know what to say and just called Leeteuk. The doctor talked to Leeteuk while Minho was thinking about what the doctor said earlier, he was holding Krystal's hand. Just then, her hand started to move,

"Oppa" Krystal gently called.

"Soojung, thank god your awake. Just a minute I'll get the doctor" Minho was about to leave but Krystal reached for his hand,

"Oppa don't leave" Krystal said.

"Don't worry, I'll be right here" Minho sat back down. Leeteuk came back and saw Krystal awake.

"Soojung" Leeteuk said as he ran and hugged Krystal, "Are you feeling alright? Minho can you get the doctor?"

"Dae" Minho said and left.

"Oppa I'm feeling good, there's nothing to worry about" Krystal said, just then the doctor came. The doctor first examined her and asked a few questions.

"Looks like Mrs. Jung is recovering so fast" The doctor said, "Mr. Jung can I please talk to you for moment" Leeteuk and the doctor went outside to talk leaving Minho and Krystal.

"Is there something wrong?" Krystal asked,

"No, everything is fine" Minho said, "Nothing to worry about." Outside the room, the doctor and Leeteuk were talking. Things wasn't looking good,

"We've been examining her for the past 24 hours and from the result, her condition is not getting any better. Like I said, it's best for her to be looked at and get a better point of view by a professional doctor." Leeteuk looked troubled and doesn't know what to do,

"Is there anything you can do at all?" Leeteuk asked.

"I'm sorry to inform you but there's nothing I can do at this point. I'm really sorry" The doctor said and left, Leeteuk sat down for minute and called someone. After a few minutes someone came knocking, Leeteuk went and opened the door. At the same time Minho came out of the bathroom and saw someone coming in. He quickly recognised the person, it was David.

"Minho your here" David said,

"How dare you come here!" Minho said angrily and grabbed David's collar. Leeteuk quickly reacted and stopped Minho,

"Minho what are you doing? Let go" Minho let David go. "What is going here? What happened between the two of you?"

"Hyung get that jerk out of here" Minho said,

"What are talking about? Go outside for a minute and we'll have a talk." Minho went outside and Leeteuk followed him.

"Hyung why is he here?" Minho asked,

"I told him to come" Leeteuk replied,

"Why?"

"Do you remember what the doctor said earlier?" Minho nodded in response. "I'm sending Soojung back to America and David is going to be her guardian there."

"WHAT!?! Your sending Soojung to America without my consent, hyung how could you do that?"

"Minho I'm really sorry, I don't know what else to do?" Leeteuk kept apologizing,

"I'm okay with you sending Soojung to America but why does David have to be her guardian?" Minho asked,

"David is a doctor, and he knows alot of skilled doctor in America. His our only hope, please try to understand."

"No hyung, I won't let David ruin everything either you like it or not, I'm going with Soojung to America." Minho said then left Leeteuk. Minho went back to Krystal's room and David was sitting next to Krystal. Minho pulled him out of the room,

"What are you doing?" David asked,

"What do you think? Kicking you out." Minho replied, "This is the last time I'm going to warn you, don't ever appear in front of me." Minho said as he went back to the room and closed the door, shuting David out. A few days later, Krystal was feeling better and is able to move. Minho was there with her until he got a call saying that he has to go to SM, Leeteuk came back with Siwon after buying a meal.

Minho kissed Krystal forehead, told Siwon to look after her and left. Krystal looked like she was going to cry, but didn't made it obvious. After Minho left, Leeteuk quickly packed Krystal's stuff and placed them in his car. He then went and paid Krystal's bill while Siwon helped Krystal to the car. After paying the bill Leeteuk came back drove off without saying anything. At SM, Minho finished his bussines and went to the hospital. His was in good mood, he arrived at Krystal's floor and went to her room.

"Soojung I'm back" Minho entered looking happy but as soon as he entered the room, he saw the bed empty and is getting cleaned by a cleaner. "Excuse me, where did the patient go?"

"Ah Mrs. Jung, she was discharged this morning." The cleaner replied,

"Discharged?" Minho asked.
