Louis and I stood out front of the mall, awaiting our day of shopping. All I wanted was for the blue eyed boy to be happy and relaxed.

He had his hand on the door handle, all ready to go in, but I pulled him back and paused for a moment.

"Wait." I said and pulled out a blue beanie from my pocket and sunglasses from my coat. My hair was stuffed away into the beanie and the sunglasses hid a portion of my face away from any photographers, in hopes that they would not notice me.

I said genuinely, "We're lucky we got away from the paparazzi the first time. Want a pair?"

Louis eagerly took the extra sunglasses from my hand and put them on - maybe the thought of photographers made him nervous. It was completely understandable, however. When I was younger, anxiousness forced me to dread being around them.

"It's feels like we're going under cover or something, Harry!" Louis giggled and clapped his hands. I chuckled and held open the door. Louis gave his thanks and wandered off towards all the different stores. I followed close behind, not wanting to lose him.

"Can we go in here?" Louis asked excited as he stood out front of TopShop. He sounded like a child going into a toy store; impatient yet beyond happy.

"Of course we can, Lou." I laughed, "Wherever you want to go, we go."

"Aw, Harry, you're a sweet little thing, aren't ya?" Louis joked in an American, southern accent. He smiled at me for a second before standing on his tippy toes and bopping my nose. I scrunched my nose and chortled.

"Keep it moving, little boy."

Louis rolled his eyes and skipped into TopShop. I kept behind him and browsed around at the same time. We were in the T-shirt and Long Sleeve section. Louis had a few clothing items in his hand. One was a jean jacket, another was a grey sweater with 'it is what it is' printed on the back of it, a lavender colored sweater with 'love is love' written on the sleeve and a pair of black joggers.

He looked down at them and shrugged, "Maybe I should try them on." It sounded more like a question than a statement.

"Duh." I said and nudged him into one of the changing stalls. I sat on the black chair across from Louis' area and waited patiently.

"Alright, I'm coming out now. Just don't laugh." He mumbled shyly.

Louis came from behind the curtain wearing the lavender sweater and black joggers. He did a 360, which allowed me to stare at his butt. Not just his butt, but the outfit looked great on him. Nothing was too big or too small - everything was just right.

"I know, I don't look-"

"Shut up," I cut him short, "because you look amazing."

He blushed as he gave a small smile, "Thank you."

"And I mean it." I nodded. "Now go try on the other stuff. I want to see them, too."

Louis was in and out under a minute. He wore the grey sweater, feeling a little bit more confident. I gave him a yes, then he went to put on the jean jacket.

"I think I like this one the most. It makes me feel... badass." He smirked.

I barked out a laugh, "Badass."

"What?" He grinned and I shook my head.

Louis, you make me laugh is what.

I paid for Louis' things and we left TopShop.

He kept hassling me for buying all the clothes but I simply disagreed. Louis would constantly try to give me back the amount I spent on him, but each time I closed his hand and said 'no'. Eventually, he grumbled something under his breath and gave up.

A few minutes later, we somehow ended up infront of Victoria's Secret.

I wasn't sure how or why, but it happened.

Louis started to walk in, so I made my way behind him like a lost puppy. But Louis turned around really quick and put a hand on my chest.

"You, my friend, are staying put."

"Why?" I demanded, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Because I said so." Louis retorted matter-of-factly then walked away.

I sighed and leaned against the wall. There couldn't have been anything he was hiding from me - he didn't need to hide anything from me, anyways. I would be open minded no matter what. Louis shouldn't be afraid to be himself around me.

I tried to look through the display window to see where Louis was and what he was up to. I did spot him but unfortunately it was just the back of his head. A mannequin stood in the way of my chances to see Lou.

A long, breathy sigh escaped my lips and I looked away again.

Five minutes later, Louis came strolling out of Victoria's Secret with a small bag. I wanted to know what was in there so bad.

"Alrighty then, I'm all done. Sorry to make you wait." He said concerned.

I shrugged and we walked back out to the car. I had to run some errands after I took the blue eyed boy home, so I told Louis and we were on our way to his place. He said he had some work to do anyways.

When we arrived at Louis' house, the two of us sat in his drive way, stalling so nobody would have to leave.

"So, can I see what's in the bag now?" I pushed, needing to know.

He shook his head, a smile lingering, "Oh dear lord, Harry, you'll survive if you don't. I'm positive."

"What about later?"

He laughed, "Yeah, probably later."

I knew that answer was better than nothing, causing me to smile.

Then it got quiet for a little bit. None of us said anything, only because I think we honestly enjoyed the silence shared. It was nice to just sit with him and not have to talk.

Louis ended that though.

"I should go now." He sighed. "I had a great day, by the way, all thanks to you."

"It was my pleasure, Lou." I smiled.

"Goodbye for now, cupcake." Louis said sweetly and kissed my cheek.

Then he left but the butterflies in my stomach did not.

I was sad to see him go.
