Chapter 2 -A fine day-

"So I am Mrs. Kaori and I am your homeroom teacher, nice to meet you guys and I hope we'll have fun this year." The homeroom teacher said as laughs and chuckled

"Now, let's place the positions of your seating." she continued

"Now, who's Hikaru?" She asked the crowd of students

"Me." Hikaru said as he raised his hand, and smirked at me

'What was that for?'

"You'll be sitting at the last row, next to the window, and [Y/n]? " She asked

I raised my hand and I was seated with Hikaru. 'What a coincidence'

"Hey there." He said

"Hey." I looked at him

"What a coincidence, huh?" 

"Well, yeah. Guess we're desk-mates for the whole year huh?"

"Yeap!" He said

"Heya guys, look who's sitting in front of you two!" I heard a girl's voice in front of me

"Hana-chan!"

"Yes, you're right! Looks like we got lucky today, huh [Y/n]?" She said while flipping her hair

"Hey, stop talking back there, you three better control yourself okay?" Mrs.Kaori said as she looks at us, but later continues placing everyone's position.

After some time, we finally started our first assignment, presenting what occupation we want in front of everyone.

'Well, damnit, I can't do that in front of everyone, it's too embarrassingggggggggg'

"Hello everyone, my name is Hana Togashi, my occupation is to be singer, I-I know its embarrassing but that's what I want to do for my future, that's all, thank you!" Hana-chan was the last third, and you were the last second, while Hikaru was the last person to present.

'Well, here goes nothing...'

'Breath [Y/n] you can do this!"

"Hi everyone, my name is [Y/n] [L/n], my occupation is to be a professional pastry chef, but just an ordinary one will do, t-thank you!" I said, 'Shoot, I stuttered at the back, guess I still can't get off this anxiety out of my chest....'

I quietly walked back to my seat, while blushing a bit becuz of the embarrassment, I sighed, feeling a tap on my shoulder, I look to my side, 'Hikaru?' 

"You did great, [Y/n] [L/n]!" He said

I blushed and said thanks, quickening my pace to run back my desk.

"Yo guys, I'm Hikaru Takanashi, nice to meet you, and now I currently have no occupation, sorry." He said that and finished it off with a smirk on his face, the girls in my class squealed and said how much of a sunshine he is.

'I guess thats true.'

~Timeskip to when its was rest period~

" [Y/n], wanna get something to eat at the school cafeteria? Or did you brought your own lunch?" Hana-chan asked me and I gently turn my head from left to right, "Well, let's go, I'm hungryyyyy..." She groaned as she rubbed her tummy while putting on a pout face

"Okay okay, let's go." I said while patting her head

"I wonder what should I eat....?" Hana chan said while scratching the back of her head, thinking hard about the food that she would pick

"So is it gonna be Ramen? No no no, I had that yesterday... Katsudon? I had that the day before yesterday... Bread? ehhhhh, that's too dry..." Hana-chan mumbled 

I chuckled and said, "Well, hope you can get one out of your mind." 

"Then, curry ramen it is!" She screamed, the hall of people looking straight at her

"What?" She asked the crowd

Then, the day was just fine as usual, nothing big happened besides the situation I'd this morning, I cringed at the thought of the guy 'Hikaru huh?'

"Are you thinking about me, tomato-chan?" A guy's voice ringed into my ears

'Oh no, please don't say anything stupid [Y/n]'

"Urm, sadly to say, no." I calmly said, 'Nice start [y/n]'

"Eh? That's just too disappointing [Y/n]..." Hana-chan said,

"What did you expect Hana-chan?" I pouted

Hikaru chuckled, he put his plate down and sat in front of me

"Mind if I sit here?" He asked with a smile,

"You already sat down so it's not a problem anymore, is it?" I said while still eating my food, They both laughed and we've went back to class together.

~Another timeskip for the second half period to end~

"Ahh, finally done!!!" said Hana while stretching her hands to the back and yawning

"Yupp, that was a tough day for the first day of school." I sighed as I finished my sentence

'I felt a stare'

I looked to my side, seeing Hikaru peacefully grabbing his stuff, putting it in his bag

'Not him, who is it?'

Then I realised, in the corner of my eye, I saw a girl looking at me, but as soon as I look at her, she turned away and walked outta my sight.

'Weird' I thought

"Where's your house, [Y/n]?" Hikaru snapped me back to my senses

"Oh, its near to the our school, why?" I asked

"Well, let's walk home together, all three of us." He smiled and we all walked home, saying goodbyes as we parted our ways, exchanging numbers before we parted, receiving a text even after we just parted our ways for 5 minutes.
