Dan's POV
I just sat there at home, wondering about Arin. Is he okay? What's going on at his home? I miss him.
As I got lost in thought, I hear a frantic knock on the door, and Arin's muffled voice shout joyously, "Dan! Open up!"
I carefully open the door to see Arin happily bouncing about. I smile when I see his joy, knowing that everything must've gone nicely.
Right when he spotted me, I was pulled into an excited hug. I felt myself being picked up off of the ground. I see the floor below me, making me feel dizzy and ill. As soon as Arin noticed, he stopped, holding me now.
"Sorry," Arin apologized through his laughing.
"You got good news for me, I'm assuming?" I referred to Arin's thrilled behavior when I opened the door.
"No," he said sarcastically.
"What's the news?" I ask curiously, sharing Arin's happiness.
"Suzy took it nicely, and I'm gonna be able to live with you, and I'm so excited and so happy I get to be with you!" He explained.
"That's awesome! I- I'm so relieved," I feel myself choking up over all this.
"Dan, are you okay?" Arin put a hand on my shoulder, leaning in a bit closer.
"I-I'm fine, really, don't worry!" I insist, overcome with emotion.
"If you're sure..." Arin muttered sadly, seemingly concerned with my well being.
"Please don't worry," I felt like I was begging for him to stop.
"Dan. I have to worry now. You're so precious to me, my sexy widdle baby," he teased me again with that same nickname, but it still didn't fail to make me blush, "What? You like being called a sexy widdle baby?" He laughed at my embarrassment.
"Stop," I mutter quietly, still chuckling a slight bit.
    "Awww, why?" Arin teased.
"You know exactly what you're doing!"
"Noooo," he laughed, "I dooon't, what am I doing?"
"You're embarrassing me..." I said, this time a bit more convincingly, not laughing along.
"Really?" His gaze softened, and he seemed genuinely sorry.
"I mean, I'm fine, but... Really?" I laughed again, not wanting to see Arin sad any longer.
"Yea, really!" He smiled again when he heard me laugh.
"Heheh, I thought so," I sighed contently, not wanting it any other way.
"But really, are you okay?" Arin's concern came back.
"I'm fine now," I say truthfully.
"Okay," he held me close, "You're gonna stay close to me though, okay?"
    "I don't see why," I was a bit confused.
"Because," Arin hugged me tightly to his side, "I want you to always stay safe and happy."
"Okay," I pretty easily gave in, allowing Arin to keep me close by, "I'll stay here, I guess..."
"Mhm..." Arin sighed, finally able to fully relax after what had just happened.
We stood there for a while, just enjoying each other's company. It was nice being able to have Arin to myself. I could've stayed there for hours on end with Arin there.
After what could've been minutes or hours (I didn't care to keep track of time), Arin finally said, "Maybe we should do something!"
"Mh, yea, I guess," I tiredly reply.
"C'mon," he nudged me, trying to wake me, "Let's go."
"Alright, what do you wanna do?" I ask, releasing myself from him to stretch.
"I dunno, it's about lunchtime, though. I'll get something," Arin offered, walking over to the kitchen, and opening the cabinet.
"Don't worry, I got it. This is my house, after all!"
"Too late, I'm already here!" He smiled, rummaging through the food cabinet.
"Alright, alright!" I grin at Arin, seeing him smile.
We have a nice lunch together, and we sit at the table, exchanging some talk about what else we had to do, and who else we would have to tell about us.
"How do you think the others will react?" I asked, reclining in my current position on the couch.
"Ha, Ross will use it as another opportunity to piss us off," Arin laughed.
"Yea, but that's just what I'd expect from him."
"I think everyone will take it pretty well, especially since everyone is happy up to this point," he sighs contently.
"Yea, I think so, too... What about the lovelies?" I imagine how much things would change for them, too.
"Eh, some of them might be dicks, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. They'll get used to it, like everyone has to."
"Including us," I added.
"You worried?" He asked, concerned for me, checking my expression as to make sure I was doing okay.
"A bit," I easily admit, deciding to be honest with myself, with Arin.
"That's okay," he moved closer to me, "I'm a bit worried, too."
"Don't be. The worst is almost over with. We're going to be happy," I try to convince him, wanting to see his smile again.
"Yea, we'll be happy... Together. Just us two," I see a slight smile creep across Arin's face.
"That's more like it," I sigh happily, satisfied, "Keep smiling for me, okay?" I request that one favor from him, because I loved his smile.
"Okay," Arin giggled, blushing slightly, "I'll try."
"Heheh, thanks."
"No problem."
We both fall silent for a few minutes, though it was relaxing. Then, Arin held my hand. I feel myself start to blush, even though this was such a simple gesture.
"What? Am I embarrassing you again?" Arin laughs.
I didn't respond verbally, just squeezed his hand a bit, but not enough to hurt him.
"Awww, Dan," Arin starts, "You're so precious, so sweet..." He flips over on top of me to get a clear look at my face.
"Wh-wha-" I stutter, startled at the sudden movements, and leaning backwards out of surprise.
"Y'know, you look pretty when you're flustered," Arin leaned in a bit, getting closer to my face, making up for when I had kept back.
"S-stop it!" I smiled a slight bit though; I wanted him to keep going, to see how far this would go.
