"Grayson oh my god!" You screamed running into his and Ethan's apartment with the mail. You ran to his room to see him on his piano practicing new things. "Hello beautiful. What's up?" He asked standing up and pecking your lips. "I just got the mail and guess what came in?!" You squeeled jumping around. "What?" He smiled. "The letter from Yale! Oh god I can't open it. You do it!" You said nerves taking over you. You shoved it into Grayson's hand and he had a frown on his face. "How about you step out of the room and wait for like an even bigger surprise?" He asked looking at you with a small smile. "Good Idea!" You said and ran downstairs to see Ethan making cereal so you ranted about the letter.

*graysons pov*

I slowly opened the letter my heart pounding out of my chest. I took the letter out of the envelope and read it carefully. She got in. She got in? Oh no. No this can't be right. I quickly ran to my computer typing in Microsoft word the exact same letters of the letter except changing it to look like she didn't get in. I know it sounds selfish and...it kinda is. Yeah it really is. I just can't let her go. I printed the letter out and ripped up the real one and put it in my underwear drawer under my boxers and socks.

Grayson came to the kitchen with an emotionless face. "What did it say?!" Me and Ethan asked at the same time. Grayson looked at me with a frown and my whole world came crashing down. "You didn't get in babe." Grayson said hugging you tightly. I didn't get in. You started to cry. You were so looking forward to going to college. To meet new friends. Have an opportunity to get a good job. And now that's all gone.

*oops two month time skip(:*

"Hey Emma!" Grayson yelled from the bathroom. "Yeah?" You yelled back scrolling through his computer looking at other colleges that might be able to except someone so late. "Can you get me some underwear?" He yelled back. "Sure!" You yelled getting up and picked up a pair. You closed the drawer and set them down on the sink. Grayson smiled and kissed you. "Thanks." He said "no problem." You smiled and walked out going back to his computer. You went on you email and saw a message from Yale. You furrowed your eyebrows and opened it. "Dear miss emma,

We noticed that you weren't here for the tour of Yale. If you could kindly email us back to explain why we would appreciate it." You were really confused now. You quickly wrote a response back saying that you weren't there because they didn't except you.

*hour later*

You were still on his computer looking through your email waiting for a response from Yale. Just then you saw they wrote back. " you must have been confused from the letter because we accepted you." You smiled but was really confused at the same time. You started to think. The only one who got your application was...no. How could he do this?! "Grayson get your ass in here!" You screamed standing up from the chair.

He quickly walked in only in sweatpants. "What did you do to my application?" You asked with a stern face. "I-I don't know what your talking about." He stuttered knowing he got caught. "Why Grayson?! Why did you do that?!" You screamed pissed off he really did that. "Because-" he started but you cut him off. "Because you were jealous I'm getting into college and you wouldnt?!" You yelled crossing your arms. "No it's because-" he tried to explain again but you cut him off once again "because what Grayson?! I cried for a week because of that! And you were happy all that time?! You're so unbelievable!" You yelled. "Will you just shut up and let me explain!?" Grayson voice scared you so you shut your mouth. "Thank you! Yes I ruined your letter. I printed a new one saying you didn't get in because I didn't want to loose you! I didn't want to watch you walk out of my life into a new one. You would meet new people and most likely meet a new guy that would actually be there for you while I'm so many miles away from you! Don't you see that half of the long distance relationships don't work?! I couldn't lose you emma! If I did I wouldnt know what I would do with myself! If I think of a world without you I feel lost! And maybe I was jealous because you would actually have a fresh start and a good job while I'm stuck with nothing! You would be having the time of your life while I'm here without a future job. I wouldn't have you emma. I would loose you and I wouldn't be able to live without you..." He screamed for a while but towards the end he kinda just broke down and balled his eyes out. You felt bad. You should be ashamed and mad and not trust him but after all he said. You started to realise that because so far away from him too would be a living nightmare. "Oh Grayson..." You said sitting next to him and hugging him tightly. He hugged you back and cried on your shoulder. "I'm sorry I'm so so so sorry." He mumbled over and over. "It's okay. Baby it's okay." You cooed. "I know I shouldn't have done that but I couldn't help it. I didn't wanna lose you." He whispered. "You're never gonna lose me. Look I found a college about 30 minutes from here. They seem to be a good school and I can visit you more. Would that be better?" You asked rubbing his back. He sniffed and shakes his head yes. "Always visit me?" He asked with a small smile. "Always." You grinned attaching your lips to his.

"This is so beautiful." You heard Ethan say. You broke the kiss and looked at Ethan who was eating popcorn. "Grayson your such an asshole but that was so sweet!" Ethan said wiping fake tears. You both laughed at him.

"Okay do I have everything?" You asked looking at all your packed bags. "Nope just this last thing." Ethan said grunting pulling a huge suitcase towards you. You took it and dragged it grunting also. "What's in this?!" You said wiping sweat. You were about to open it but Ethan yelled no. "I mean it's a surprise! Open it when you get into your dorm." He smiled. You shrugged as Egan helped you put the heavy suitcase in the car with the rest.

Once you got into your dorm you started to unpack your bags. Your roommate was nice and so was everyone else. You were gonna like it here. You started to open the huge suitcase that was heavy. "Surprise!!" Grayson yelled hopping out of the suricate with a bow around his head. You screamed and fell on your butt. "Grayson! What the hell!" You yelled standing up. "What you don't like your gift?" He frowned. You laughed and kissed him. "I love it." "You guys are so cute it makes me wanna puke." Your roommate said staring at you guys in awe. "Oh yeah I also got accepted here so now we can see eachother even more." He smiled and you smiled as well. "That's great!" You yelled and hugged him.
