Running With The Rain

---------Melody's P.O.V.-------------

By the time I was done in the gas station it was 11:38pm. I walked out of the door and towards the street. I watched the ground as I walked past a large puddle. Something caught my eye in the puddle and by the time I realized what it was it was too late. A man appeared from the alley and grabbed my arm. I screamed and the man put a white cloth over my face. I knew that whatever this was I shouldn't breath, but I ran out of breath and darkness took over me.

-------James's P.O.V.-----------------

I knew that somebody was in trouble so I ran as fast as my legs would take me. I got near the middle of the alley when I saw a tall guy looking through the belonging of a girl who appeared to have passed out. I ran over and punched the guy right in the eye, then the nose. The guy fell but got back up, kicked me in the shin, then took of running in the opposite direction. I inspected the girl for any injuries and when i didn't see any, I picked her up and carried her to my car. I set her down in the backseat and sped away.
